Assessment methods:
During semester student can get 40 points
- Test (15 points)
- Oral examination (25 points)
For assesment A is necessary get at least 38 points, for B at least 35 points, for C at least 32
points, for D at least 29 points and for E minimum 26 points.
Learning outcomes of the course unit:
After completing the course the student is able to:
- konw basic principles in the field of pediatrics
- descripe of physiotherapy in selected most frequently occurring diseases and conditions
in children in all developmental stages (to model situations and on the basis of case
reports).

1. Introduction to pediatrics, developmental and behavioral pediatrics
2. Demographic characteristics in pediatrics.
3. Prevention intervention in pediatrics, screening.
4. Psychomotor development of the child.
5. Pediatric nutrition.
6. Vaccination.
7. Congenital malformations and their solutions.
8. Primary prevention of cardiovascular disease.
9. Nutritional Disorders.
10. Infectious diseases in children, differential diagnosis. rash.
11. Oncology.
12. Neonatal medicine.
13 Chapters of social pediatrics.
