The FOR INTERIOR Trade Fair is the largest autumn Trade Fair for Furniture, Interiors and Design
in the Czech Republic. It is known as a comprehensive presentation of high-quality, unconventional,
comfortable, modern or stylish living. At the trade fair it was possible to see innovations of many leading
Czech manufacturers as well as interesting exhibits of small family-run firms, interior studios, furniture
importers and foreign companies. The Jelínek company was the first one in this country to present
the bedroom set ZIRBE made of the wood bearing the same name and featuring a lot of positive effects
on human organism. Concerning the other matters of interest, it is also possible to mention the Czech
manufacturer BÖHM which presented, in their furniture product range, the revolutionary filling material
Labyrinth, typical of its exceptional hygiene characteristics. An absolute innovation was represented
by proprietary chairs balans® arising through combination of the Italian furniture and the Norwegian
patent for healthy seating. An innovation was represented also by the JMP company which had its
innovative folding bed “Quatro” provided with industrial right protection. And last, but not least it is also
necessary to mention Albert Ponsel, Germany-based manufacturer, presenting new models of seating
sets with the Boxspring system of comfort seating, which only had their domestic first run after the FOR
INTERIOR Trade Fair.
Interiors are indispensably associated with high-quality and creative work of designers and architects
offering free-of-charge consultations within the framework of their expositions. Within the framework
of the Nábytekjistota.cz project whose aim is to support high-quality Czech furniture, the visitors also
could come to seek advice from representatives of the Association of Czech Furniture Manufacturers.

A contest overview of works of students and novice architects (under 33 years of age) focused
on the topic “Sore spots of towns and municipalities – abandoned industrial areas”

The 5th edition of the specialised Trade Fair for Decorations, Home Accessories and Gifts took place
in the Exhibition Hall 1 where it was possible to see representative expositions of the most important
firms in the sector. The event was focused on contract negotiations and sale, with a core priority aimed
at the professional public with an up-to-date pre-Christmas offer. The topic follow-up to the simultaneously
held Trade Fair for Furniture known as FOR INTERIOR thus brought a unique possibility of additional finishing
of the interior in the very least details, and at the same time it enabled getting acquainted with the latest
trends and innovations on the Christmas market.
It is appropriate to mention some renowned Czech exhibitors who offered their own original decorations
or innovations from abroad, and the trade fair was enriched with an interesting offer of new foreign firms
as well. FOR DECOR & PRESENT became an important site for presentation of the famous company ČESKÝ PORCELÁN during its celebration of the 150th anniversary of foundation. In its attractive exposition it
was possible to see a cross section of its entire creation, which was a regular pearl for those who enjoy
setting up tables. Very attractive expositions, especially with pre-Christmas topics, were prepared by the best
known companies in the sector of decorations, such as CEDR GROUP, IN-SPIRACE, JANNAI, LUIS, PARAMIT
or SIMONS TRADE. It was also possible to admire luxurious home furnishing fabrics presented by the leading
Poland-based firm EUROFIRANY or exotic home filling systems of marble and onyx whose exclusive importer
is GORA SLOVAKIA. In the field of gift articles it is necessary to name the imposing stand of BRAND GIFTS,
offering luxurious manager accessories and gifts of the most renowned brands of the world.

COMPETITION FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL QUIET PLACE WITH CANDLES
A pleasant enrichment of the exhibition hall of decorations and gifts was the professional decorators’
competition FOR THE MOST BEAUTIFUL QUIET PLACE WITH CANDLES, whose exclusive media partner
was the magazine “DOMOV”. Although this competition was organised for the first time within the framework of the FOR DECOR&PRESENT Trade Fair, it was accepted positively on all the parts. Altogether
18 competing exhibitors prepared beautiful interior quiet places designed in various styles, whose
common topic consisted in small romantic flames of candles. The competition was organised from two
points of view: by the Expert Jury of the magazine “DOMOV”, together with the trade fair organiser ABF
a. s. and also by means of an enquiry of visitors.
The results of the VISITOR SURVEY confirmed the
winners at a major part: the 1st place belonged
to RELAX DEKOR manufacturing its own original
candles. The second place of the visitor enquiry
was occupied by ČESKÝ PORCELÁN and the third
place belonged to KAPRADINA - Ivana Luxemburková. It is necessary to stress that also other firms
which were proactively involved in the decoration
competition prepared a valuable experience to all
visitors.
COMPETITION WINNERS
The 1st prize for the most beautiful quiet place assessed by the Expert Jury was acquired by the firm
“KAPRADINA” – of Ivana Luxemburková, whose quiet place offered the atmosphere of romantic France.
On the other hand, a quiet place in a modern design was arranged by the firm “LUIS Decoration” which
was assessed on the 2nd place. As the third winning quiet place the Expert Jury evaluated the arrangement of the exhibitor “ČESKÝ PORCELÁN” which chose a classical noble concept.

The FOR GASTRO&HOTEL Trade Fair is a specialised exhibition focused mainly on professionals, chefs,
specialists and experts in the HORECA sector. It offers especially a wide range of products for gastronomy,
equipment of restaurants and hotels. The number of visitors exceeded the results achieved in 2013.
In comparison with the figures of 2013, the FOR GASTRO & HOTEL 2014 Trade Fair registered
an increase by 40 % and its net exhibition area grew by 84 %.
Czech cuisine belongs without any doubt among our cultural and culinary heritage. No wonder that
the interest in it is rising every year, which has been confirmed to the visitors also by the latest edition
of the FOR GASTRO&HOTEL Trade Fair with the largest number of exhibitors. The CzechTourism agency
makes both Czech and foreign visitors familiar with Czech gastronomy through the Czech Specials project,
and at the same time it supports the restaurants offering traditional regional specialties.

The 5 edition of the FOR GASTRO&HOTEL 2015 Fair Trade will take place
on October 1-4, 2015 together with the 5th edition of the World Competition

“GLOBAL CHEFS CHALLENGE” held under the auspices of the World Association

It means that at the FOR GASTRO&HOTEL 2015 Trade Fair we will welcome the best chefs’ teams of Central
Europe coming to the PVA EXPO PRAGUE Exhibition Centre within the framework of this world competition
entitled GLOBAL CHEFS CHALLENGE. The final round of this competition which is to be held in Athens,
Greece, in 2016 will then decide about the absolute winner at the world level.
