BASIC INFORMATION ABOUT „HELPING SCHOOLS SUCCEED"
Project objective
Support participating public elementary schools in ensuring that all of their students enjoy learning
to their fullest potential.
Project strategy
We foster a culture of learning for everyone in schools.
We are rolling out a network of schools that learn from each other.
We support mutual learning among organizations that help teachers and schools.
We promote an approach focused on success for every student in every school.
Support for project schools
Long-lasting (five years)
Solicited and individualized
Building on what the school is doing
Provided directly at schools
Selected sources of support
Mutual learning in and outside the school (peer support, co-teaching, shared development)
Critical friends — support from the outside (instructional coach, external experts)
More adults in one class (teacher’s assistant, school psychologist)
Support for educational leadership (the learning school vision, development of leadership)
