Golden4 je nejnovější kluzák z dílny Gradient. Golden4 je přímým následovníkem
nejúspěšnější Gradient modelové řady Golden/Orbit. Výsledkem je čistý
aerodynamický design s ohromným potenciálem využití pro nejširší pilotní
skupinu. Agilita, lehkost použití a výkonové parametry Golden4 jsou postaveny
na silném základu pasivní bezpečnosti. To je to, co dělá z Golden4 opravdu
spolehlivého partnera. Létání se stává intuitivním a tudíž Vám zůstává spousta
prostoru na rozhodnutí o samotném letu.
Characteristics
Flying the Golden4 starts with the typical, easy take-off characteristics Gradient
pilots all over the world appreciate. In the air, the Golden4 thermals flat, even
when flying small circles. The wing reacts immediately to weight shifting and has
precise brakes. Well-balanced wing dynamics and a defined stall point give this
intermediate glider typical Gradient handling. The glider also behaves in a calm
and predictable way in extreme situations, leaving you confident of your safety
while you regain normal flight – no matter if it was you or turbulence that caused
the trouble.
Charakteristika
Létání s Golden4 začíná typicky jednoduchým startem, takovým na jaký jsou
Gradient piloti na celém světě zvyklí. Golden4 je schopen kroužit ve velmi malých
kruzích bez zbytečného náklonu. Kluzák reaguje okamžitě na přenášení váhy.
Velmi dobře vyvážená dynamika a přesně definovaný bod přetažení dává tomuto
kluzáku typický Gradient handling. Kluzák se chová velmi předvídatelně a plynule
i v extrémních situacích a upevňuje Vaši důvěru v Golden4 bez ohledu na to, jestli
jste způsobili kolaps Vy nebo turbulence.

La nouvelle Golden4 est le dernier développement du Team Gradient. L’aile est
dans la continuité du modèle à succès, la Golden. Le résultat est un design
aérodynamique épuré doté d’une variété incroyable de possibilités. Une aile qui
pourra répondre à la demande de tous types de pilotes. La vélocité, le rendement
en thermique, la performance et la vitesse de la Golden4 sont servis par une
sécurité passive très forte. La maniabilité sensitive typique des ailes Gradient et

Design gepaart mit einer unvergleichlichen Vielfalt an Einsatzmöglichkeiten
und dem Potenzial die Ansprüche verschiedenster Piloten zu erfüllen. Agilität,
Steigen, Gleitleistung und Geschwindigkeit des Golden4 werden von einer hohen
passiven Sicherheit begleitet. Das Gradient-typische sensible Handling und
das unmittelbare Feedback lassen den Piloten entspannt und in Harmonie mit
dem Schirm fliegen. Dieses Gesamtpaket macht den Golden4 zu einem absolut

Un vol avec la Golden4 commence avec la facilité de décollage appréciée des
pilotes Gradient partout dans le monde. En thermique, la Golden4 tourne bien
à plat tout en ayant un rayon de virage très court. L’aile réagit immédiatement
au transfert de poids et la commande est très précise. La dynamique de l’aile
et son point de décrochage précis donnent à cette aile intermédiaire le pilotage
Gradient. La Golden4 a un comportement calme et prédictible dans les situations
extrêmes, en vous rassurant pendant le retour au vol normal, que l’incident soit
lié à l’aérologie ou à vous.

Der Flug mit dem Golden4 beginnt mit den typischen einfachen Start-Eigenschaften
die Gradient Piloten auf der ganzen Welt zu schätzen wissen. Der Golden4 lässt
sich in der Thermik flach drehen, auch wenn recht enge Kreise geflogen werden.
Der Schirm reagiert sofort auf Gewichtsverlagerung und hat präzise Bremsen. Die
ausgewogene Dynamik und ein definierter Stallpunkt geben diesem Intermediate
das typische Gradient Handling. Der Schirm reagiert gediegen und berechenbar
in Extremflugmanövern und vermittelt dir Sicherheit während des Übergangs in
den Normalflug – egal ob du der Auslöser der Probleme warst oder Turbulenzen.

Construction
Gradient’s well-proved DDsystem, have made it possible to develop an intermediate
glider without compromises in stability, behaviour or performance for its class.
The Golden4 has three main line levels, a system Gradient has uses for years.
Careful selection of lines and materials means the wing-loading is optimised
in flight in any situation. Progressive line diameters along the span and chord
are already standard in Gradient wings and this combined with a self-trimming
system and different line materials mean the glider keeps its long-term geometry.
Meanwhile, optimal cell opening sizes and position ensure efficient air intake at a
very wide angle of attack.
Konstrukce
Gradient ověřený DDsystém umožnil vyvinout kluzák střední třídy s mimořádným
výkonem bez kompromisů ve stabilitě a pasivní bezpečnosti. Golden4 má tři řady
hlavních šňůr, systém, který Gradient již léta používá. Pečlivý výběr materiálu
a konstrukce každého detailu zaručuje optimální rozložení sil v jakékoli situaci.
Progresivní odstupňování tloušťky šňůr v kombinaci se skladbou vhodných
materiálů zajišťují dlouhodobě správnou geometrii. Velmi podstatný je také systém
vstupních otvorů, především jejich umístění a velikost, který zaručuje plnění
vrchlíku v maximálním rozsahu úhlů náběhu.
Everlast
The Golden4 is the first Gradient glider where we have used Everlast, a doublecoated Porcher material. Everlast was developed by Gradient in co-operation with
Porcher Sport, and this exclusive material provides gliders with long-term stability
and durability. The Golden4 is another high-end product, the result of Gradient’s
successful design philosophy that in the air, progress means simplicity. Finding
elegant solutions to creating that simplicity is the art of building a Gradient wing.
Everlast
Golden4 je první Gradient kluzák, kde jsme standardně použili Everlast, dvakrát
zatřenou Porcher tkaninu. Everlast byl vyvinut ve spolupráci vývojového týmu
Gradient a Porcher sport, Gradient má na tento speciální materiál exkluzivitu
použití. Nacházení elegantních a jednoduchých řešení je naším cílem.

Construction
L’emploi du fameux DD System permet aux designers de Gradient d’offrir une
aile très sûre et très stable avec un potentiel de performances appréciable ; La
Golden4 a trois niveaux de lignes principales, une solution utilisée par Gradient
depuis de longues années. Le choix des suspentes et des tissus permet une
optimisation des forces en toute situation. Le diamètre progressif de suspentes
dans la corde et l’envergure est déjà généralisé sur les ailes Gradient ; le profil
auto stable et les différentes qualités de suspentes induisent une longévité du
calage. En plus, la position et la forme des ouvertures de caissons assurent une
bonne entrée d’air quelque soit l’angle d’attaque.

Das bewährte Gradient DD-System ermöglichte es einen Intermediate zu
entwickeln, der für seine Klassifizierung keine Kompromisse eingeht in punkto
Stabilität, Flugverhalten oder Performance. Der Golden4 verfügt über 3
Leinenebenen – ein System das Gradient seit Jahren erfolgreich verwendet. Die
sorgfältige Auswahl der Leinen und des Materials sorgt für optimierte Lastverteilung
in jeder Flugsituation. Progressive Veränderung des Leinendurchmessers
entlang der Spannweite und Flächentiefe sind bereits Standard in GradientSchirmen. Kombiniert mit dem „self-trimming“ – System und unterschiedlichen
Leinenmaterialien wird so die Leinengeometrie für lange Zeit beibehalten. Indes
gewährleisten die optimale Grösse und Position der Zellöffnungen effiziente
Belüftung in einem sehr großen Anstellwinkelbereich.
Everlast
La Golden4 est la première aile Gradient où est utilisé l’Everlast, un tissu à
double enduction de chez Porcher. L’Everlast a été développé par Gradient en
collaboration avec Porcher Sport, et ce tissu exclusif apporte aux parapentes
longévité et stabilité durable. La Golden4 est un produit haut-de-gamme issu du
savoir-faire aéronautique de Gradient, progrès = simplicité. Trouver des solutions
élégantes pour générer cette simplicité est tout l’art de la conception d’une
Gradient.
Everlast
Der Golden4 ist der erste Gradient Schirm, bei dem Everlast - ein doppelt
beschichtetes Porcher Material - verwendet wurde. Everlast wurde in Kooperation
von Gradient und Porcher Sport entwickelt. Dieses exklusiv in Gradient
Schirmen verwendete Material, macht Schirme für lange Zeit stabil und haltbar.
Der Golden4 ist ein weiteres high-end Produkt das der erfolgreichen Gradient
Design Philosophie entspringt: Fortschritt bedeutet Unkompliziertheit. Elegante
Lösungen zu finden, um diese Unkompliziertheit zu erschaffen, ist die Kunst beim
Bau eines Gradient Schirmes!
