Yesterday May 23 evening, stormy weather caused landslide and trees falling on railway track
in section Bad Schandau - Děčín, consequently there happened an accident and derailment of freight
train of another carrier and this railway route is temporarily completely closed. With this interruption
of operation there are affected METRANS trains on connections between Hamburg / Bremerhaven /
Rotterdam / Duisburg and Czech Republic in both directions; trains that have already departed
these are stopped on the way.
With at least partial restoration of operation on this route there’s provisionally counted for today’s
evening at the moment, but there further has to be counted with extensive irregularities and delays
within returning to normal operation and train circulation.
We would like to apologise for these complications caused by unfavourable natural conditions.

Sehr geehrte Handelspartner,
stürmisches Wetter gestern 23. 5. abends hat Baumfälle und Erdrutsch auf der Bahnstrecke
im Abschnitt Bad Schandau – Děčín verursacht, nachfolgend ist dort zu einem Unfall und Entgleisung
von Güterzug von anderem Operator gekommen und diese Bahnstrecke ist jetzt temporär komplett
geschlossen. Diese Unterbrechung von Betrieb betrifft METRANS Züge auf Verbindungen Hamburg /
Bremerhaven / Rotterdam / Duisburg – Tschechische Republik in beiden Richtungen;
schon abgefahrene Züge werden unterwegs abgestellt.
Mit mindestens teilweiser Wiederaufnahme von Betrieb auf dieser Strecke rechnet man vorläufig
für heute abends, es ist jedoch nötig weiter mit umfangreichen Unregelmäßigkeiten und Verspätungen
bei Rückkehr zu normalem Betrieb und Umlauf von Zügen zu rechnen.
Wir möchten uns für diese von Naturelementen verursachte Komplikationen entschuldigen.

Vážení zákazníci,
bouřlivé počasí včera 23. 5. večer způsobilo pády stromů a sesuv na trať v úseku Bad Schandau –
Děčín, následně tam došlo k nehodě a vykolejení nákladního vlaku jiného dopravce a tato železniční
trať je dočasně zcela uzavřena. Přerušení provozu se týká vlaků METRANSu na spojeních Hamburg /
Bremerhaven / Rotterdam / Duisburg – Česká republika v obou směrech; už vypravené vlaky jsou
odstaveny po cestě.
S alespoň částečným zprovozněním tratě se předběžně počítá dnes večer, je ale třeba počítat
s významnými nepravidelnostmi a zpožděními při návratu k běžnému provozu a oběhu vlaků.
Omlouváme se za komplikace způsobené přírodními živly.
