Zvláštní bonus: Historický exkurz českým divadlem Special bonus: A

Česká republika patří k významným evropským kulturním centrům. Zájemcům o umění
a historii nabízí celou řadu neopakovatelných zážitků. Architektonické historické skvosty
i moderní stavby lze obdivovat nejen v hlavním městě Praze, ale i v dalších českých městech a
regionech. Do světových dějin se nesmazatelně zapsala česká hudba, za mnohé z význačných
autorů jmenujme alespoň Bedřicha Smetanu, Antonína Dvořáka či Leoše Janáčka. České
výtvarné umění je taktéž zastoupeno v celé řadě světových sbírek, a to ať už secesními malbami
Alfonse Muchy, nebo díly současných umělců. Také v české literatuře nalezneme množství
autorů, jejichž dílo daleko překročilo hranice české kultury, jako například Franz Kafka,
Karel Čapek nebo Milan Kundera. Ke špičkám světové kinematografie patří pak bezesporu
Miloš Forman, jehož tvorba spadá jak do dějin českého, tak do dějin amerického filmu.
České divadlo je známo především svou loutkářskou tradicí a technologickým prvenstvím
ve sféře černého divadla. Nabízí však mnohem více. Film “89 minut s českým divadlem„ nabízí
pohled na současnou českou scénu pohledem jejích aktérů. Součástí filmu je také zvláštní
bonus – historický exkurz českým divadlem.
Aktuální formy, podoby, problémy a specifika českého divadla přibližuje v 1. kapitole
šestice osobností: dramatik a první porevoluční prezident Václav Havel, loutkář a scénograf
Matěj Forman, česko-německý činoherní režisér Dušan D. Pařízek, skladatel scénické hudby
Vladimír Franz, tanečnice Petra Hauerová a zástupce českého nového cirkusu Rostislav
Novák.
Nad sítí státních i městských divadel v České republice se v 2. kapitole zamýšlí ředitel
Národního divadla Ondřej Černý, prostor pro divadlo, alternativu a underground představuje

Ve 3. kapitole odbornice na loutkové divadlo Nina Malíková a historička Vlasta Koubská
seznamují se sbírkovými divadelními fondy v českých muzeích a divadlech.
Profesionální vysokoškolskou přípravu pro divadelní profese představují ve 4. kapitole
vedoucí Katedry divadelní vědy Filozofické fakulty Univerzity Karlovy Petr Christov a děkan
Divadelní fakulty Akademie múzických umění Jan Hančil.
Virtuální prohlídku centra českého divadla a kultury Institutu umění – Divadelního ústavu
nabízí 5. kapitola, kterou provází jeho ředitelka Pavla Petrová.
Zvláštním bonusem je pak exkurz do dějin českého divadla s výkladem teatroložky Barbary
Topolové.
Divadlo má v českých zemích zvláštní postavení, vždyť právě ono stálo u zrodu moderní české

The Czech Republic belongs to important European cultural centres. It offers a wide range
of unique experiences to people who are interested in art and history. You can admire
architectural historical jewels not only in the capital city of Prague but also in other Czech
cities and regions. Composers like Bedřich Smetana, Antonín Dvořák or Leoš Janáček – to
name only a few of them – have entered the world history. Czech visual art is also represented
in numerous world collections with Art Nouveau paintings by Alfons Mucha or works by
contemporary authors. We can find a great number of Czech authors whose works virtually
crossed the boundaries of the Czech Republic; be it Franz Kafka, Karel Čapek or Milan
Kundera. Miloš Forman ranks among the top directors in the world and his works arise
under Czech and American film history.
Czech theatre is mostly famous for its puppet tradition and technological primacy in the field
of black theatre. However, it offers much more. Film “89 minutes with Czech theatre„ offers
opinions about contemporary Czech theatre from the point of view of its participants. One
part of the film is also a bonus – a historical guide of Czech theatre.
Contemporary forms, shapes, problems and specific features of Czech theatre are interpreted
by six personalities in Chapter 1: playwright and the first president after the Velvet Revolution
Václav Havel, puppeteer and stage designer Matěj Forman, Czech-German drama director
Dušan D. Pařízek, composer of scenic music Vladimír Franz, dancer Petra Hauerová and
representative of Czech new circus Rostislav Novák.
In Chapter 2, director of the National Theatre Ondřej Černý contemplates on the network
of state and private theatres, director of the Archa Theatre Ondřej Hrab represents space for
theatre, alternative and underground and theatre critic Vladimír Hulec summarizes festivals
organized in the Czech Republic.
Nina Malíková, the puppet theatre researcher, and historian Vlasta Koubská introduce
theatre collections in Czech museums and theatres in Chapter 3.
Director of the Theatre Department at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague Petr
Christov and Jan Hančil, the dean of the Theatre Faculty at the Academy of Performing Arts
introduce professional preparation for theatre jobs.
In Chapter 4 director of the Arts and Theatre Institute Pavla Petrová virtually guides us
through the centre of Czech theatre and culture.
A special bonus is the guide of Czech theatre history with comments by Barbara Topolová,
Czech theatre researcher.
Theatre has a special position in the Czech Republic because it was present during the
birth of modern Czech society. But it needs a viewer for its existence – not only in the Czech
Republic but also in the whole world. We hope that movie “89 minutes with Czech theatre„
will introduce new faces to Czech auditories.

La República Checa figura entre los importantes centros culturales europeos. A los interesados les
ofrece toda una serie de experiencias irrepetibles. Las joyas históricas de la arquitectura, así como
las modernas construcciones de edificios las podemos disfrutar no sólo en Praga, la capital sino que
también en otras ciudades y regiones checas. A la historia mundial pasó imborrablemente la música
checa, de entre todos los autores destacados mencionemos por lo menos a Bedřich Smetana, Antonín
Dvořák o Leoš Janáček. Las artes plásticas checas también tienen su representación en numerosas
colecciones mundiales, bien en forma de las pinturas del Art Nouveau de Alfons Mucha, u obras de los
autores contemporáneos. Incluso en la literatura checa podemos encontrar muchos autores, cuyas
obras pasaron las fronteras de la cultura checa, como Franz Kafka, Karel Čapek o Milan Kundera. A
la élite del cine mundial pertenece sin duda Miloš Forman, cuya obra forma parte tanto de la historia
del cine checo como de la cinematografía norteamericana.
El teatro checo es famoso sobre todo por su tradición de títeres y por la primacía tecnológica en el
campo del teatro negro. No obstante, ofrece mucho más. La película “89 minutos con el teatro checo„
ofrece una panorámica a la escena checa contemporánea por parte de sus participantes. Una parte
de la película está dedicada especialmente a hacer una excursión histórica por el teatro checo.
Las formas, los aspectos, los problemas y las particularidades contemporáneas del teatro checo son
tratados por seis personajes: el dramaturgo y primer presidente posrevolucionario Václav Havel,
el titiritero y escenógrafo Matěj Forman, el director dramático checo-alemán Dušan D. Pařízek, el
compositor de música escénica Vladimír Franz, la bailarina Petra Hauerová y el representante del
nuevo circo checo, Rostislav Novák.
Sobre la red de teatros nacionales y municipales reflexiona en el segundo capítulo el director del
Teatro Nacional Ondřej Černý, la alternativa y el underground los presenta el director del Teatro
Archa, Ondřej Hrab, y el crítico teatral Vladimír Hudec, presenta una reseña de los festivales
celebrados en la República Checa.
En el tercer capítulo la especialista en el teatro de títeres Nina Malíková y la historiadora Vlasta
Koubská dan a conocer los fondos teatrales en los museos y teatros checos .
En el cuarto capítulo, la formación universitaria profesional para ejercer la carrera teatral es
presentada por el jefe del Departamento de Teatrología de la Facultad de Filosofía y Letras de la
Universidad Carolina de Praga, Petr Christov, y el decano de la Facultad de Teatro de la Academía de
las Artes Musicales, Jan Hančil.
Pavla Petrová, directora del Instituto de Artes y de Teatro, en el quinto capítulo nos servirá de guía en
una visita virtual que haremos a su Instituto, el centro de la cultura y del teatro checo.
El extra especial es la excursión a la historia del teatro checo acompañada por el comentario de la
teatróloga Barbara Topolová.
El teatro ocupa una posición muy importante en las tierras checas ya que estuvo presente en el
nacimiento de la moderna sociedad checa. Para su existencia necesita, sin embargo, a su audiencia –
y eso no sólo en la República Checa, sino también en cualquier otro lugar del mundo. Esperamos que
justo la película “89 minutos con el teatro checo„ lleve a las salas de teatro checas a nuevas caras.

Institut umění – Divadelní ústav je státní příspěvkovou organizací zřízenou
Ministerstvem kultury České republiky. Byl založen v roce 1959 pod názvem Divadelní
ústav. V roce 2007 došlo v souvislosti s rozšířením jeho činnosti ke změně názvu na
Institut umění – Divadelní ústav (IDU). Hlavním posláním IDU je poskytovat české a
zahraniční veřejnosti komplexní služby z oblasti divadla a dílčí služby z dalších oblastí
umění (hudba, literatura, tanec, vizuální umění). IDU shromažďuje, zpracovává a
zpřístupňuje předměty sbírkového charakteru, vztahující se k oblasti divadla, věnuje
se vědeckému výzkumu, iniciuje a podílí se na mezinárodních projektech a vydává
odbornou literaturu.
The Arts and Theatre Institute is a governmental non-profit organisation of the
Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic. It was established in 1959 as the Theatre
Institute. In 2007, it changed its name to the Arts and Theatre Institute (ATI) because
of expansion of its activities. The main mission of the ATI is to provide complex
services from the field of theatre and other services from other art disciplines (music,
literature, dance, visual art) for the Czech and foreign general public. The ATI collects,
processes and provides access to objects from collections that have some relation to the
field of theatre, it deals with art research, it initiates and participates in international
projects and publishes specialized literature.
El Instituto de Artes y de Teatro es una entidad subvencionada constituida por el
Ministerio de Cultura de la República Checa. Fue fundada en 1959 bajo el nombre de
Instituto de Teatro. En 2007, en correspondencia a la amplificación de sus actividades,
cambió de nombre pasando a llamarse Instituto de Artes y de Teatro (IAT). La misión
principal del IAT es la prestación de servicios complejos en el campo teatral y
servicios en otros campos artísticos (música, literatura, danza, arte visual) al público
checo y extranjero. El IAT reune, procesa y hace accesible los objetos coleccionables
relacionados con el campo teatral, se dedica a la investigación científica, inicia y
participa en los proyectos internacionales y publica literatura especializada.
