GEODEMOGRAPHIC CHARACTERISTICS OF PATIENTS
WITH SELECTED CANCER DISEASES IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC

Morbidity of the population is within the demographic community considered relatively little mapped area of study in the Czech Republic. This is mainly because little available data base; it is difficult to get to the basic demographic
structures of patients, let alone monitor regional differences. However, there are data sources that do these characteristics may further clarify - data from health insurance companies. Within this poster, there are the data from the
largest czech health insurance company (General Health Insurance Company of the Czech Republic, GHIC), through which we can point to the base of gender, age and regional differences in selected neoplasms.
