Florbal
Například v severní Americe a Anglii se z ledního hokeje vyvinul sport s názvem „floorhockey“ a v Austrálii vznikla halová varianta oblíbeného pozemního hokeje. Výstroj a vybavení Míček lehký, plastový děrovaný Hole pro nejen školní hráče pravá; levá délka 80 – 100 cm flex 28 – 32 mm (snadná kontrola nad míčkem); tvrdší hole = tvrdší střela Výstroj brankáře dlouhé kalhoty (tepláky) ochranné triko s dlouhým rukávem (mikina) rukavice (není nutné) helma s mřížkou obličeje Branky a hřiště výška branky 115 cm šířka branky 160 cm hloubka branky 60 cm šířka hřiště 20 m délka hřiště 40 m výška mantinelu 50 cm se zakulacenými rohy Herní činnosti jednotlivce (hčj) Hráč držení hole o Horní rukou (v případě levé hokejky je horní rukou pravá) uchopíme hůl na jejím úplném konci přirozeným způsobem. English version FLORBAL Florbal was developed in Sweden, where it has already been played in the first half of the 1970ies.The roots of this sport can be found in countries all over the world, where similar sports (Hockey) have been played for long times. In Northamerica and England „Floorhockey“was played, in Australia it was „Landhockey“. Floorball is a teamsport which is played indoors. It is a fine school sport because the equipment is not expensive, both the ball and the stick are light and easy to handle and so it is quite easy to learn the basic technics of florbal. As there are no body contacts the danger of injuries is very low, which makes it an ideal school sport. Played in a higher league Florbal is physically as well as tactically very challenging. The Field The field measures 20metres x 40metres and is surrounded by 50cm high boards made of plastic. The single elements are tied together and rounded in the corners. The surface of the field may differ from hall to hall. It might be some kind of plastic or wooden floor, each surface is okay. Equipment The Ball: Diameter: 72mm Weight: 23g 26 holes The Stick: We have got lefthand and righthand sticks. Thestiffer the stick, the harder the shots. Length: 80cm – 100cm Blade: not more than 350mm long, 80mm high and between 5 and 13mm wide Goalie Equipment: Long trousers.long sleeved sport shirt, gloves, helmet. The Goal: 115cm high 160cm wide 60cm deep Technic How to hold the stick Righthand players grasp the middle of the stick with the right hand and hold the end of the stick with the left hand. The player has to find the ideal personal distance between the two hands. Important Basics Moves without the ball o Positioning o Moves on the forefoot o Always watch the match (all the moves) Moves with the ball o The ball always touches the blade o Soft touches, no pushes o Be always ready for the pass o Protect the ball Hockey dribblings Pull the leg on the floor – knee stretched Stretch your back Forehand/Backhand dribblings – slowly first with moving the centre of gravity Slowly increasing the speed Playing without eye control of the ball Florbal Dribbling Only forehand Forehand and backhand Playing the ball forwards with the shaft of the blade Playing the ball backwards with the tip of the blade The wrist plays an important role Increasing the speed step by step, the better your technic the less eye control is needed The Pass The ball is close to the blade The blade aims at your teammate Balanced body position The position of the player is sideways Always keep your head up to overlook what`s going on The centre of gravity is changed simultaneously with the move of the ball Picking the ball Similar to passing just the other way round The bold of the stick is on the floor Balanced body position Sideway position of the player Head up for overlooking the field The ball should be kept at the blade The Strike 1) The ball is always in contact with the blade, you pull it with the blade 2) You strike the ball with the blade touching the floor just before the strike The head is kept up to overlook the field The Goalkeeper The moves Follow the movements of the teammates Follow the movements of the players of the opposing team Follow the ball Catching the ball Always be careful – Watch the ball and player Reaction exercises Throwing out the ball Throw out the ball in a way that it does not threaten the own goal The ball has to touch the own end of the field before it reaches the opposing end Training – Exercises Without the ball Practise mirror exercises without the stick first, then with the stick. With the ball Slalom Different kinds of steeplechases Dribblings with the ball Exercises for passing the ball Pass the ball to a partner with varying distances Forehand and backhand passes Throw the ball to a partner Indirect passes using a bench for example Passes across a bench – lifting the ball Pass the ball and follow the ball (three or more players) Strike Against the wall (pulling and pushing the ball) On the goal (from different positions) Pass – Strike (the striker is standing) Pass – Strike (the striker is running) Focus on accuracy Goalkeeper Kneeling position – throw balls at the goalie Striking the goal from the left and right side – increase the speed – strikers change positions Catch the ball and start an attack Throw the ball to a standing player Throw the ball to a moving player Floorball is an ideal sport activity to be added to school and leisure physical education. The game itself is similar to ice hockey and we often present it to the first time players as indoor hockey played with lightweight plastic stick and perforated plastic ball. In fact, it is a modern and dynamic non-contact sport. Nowadays, there is probably no school in the Czech Republic, which has no floorball team. In addition to playing florball during traditional physical education lessons in any season of the year, this sport can enrich the whole school life. Florball is very popular amongst the youth just for its simplicity and its dramatic content. Even children who would otherwise not be interested in sports, are coming to the sports halls because of this new sport and they spend their free time in a usefull way. For several years, we have successfully organized a school floorball league. Throughout the year, on a specified day, the teams from different classes meet each other. Some teams are made of students from different classes and some also of children from the neighborhood. Whenever possible, we include also tournaments and game modifications to the playing day (eg, 3 + 1, a mixed team, skills tournament, etc.). From such a school league, there is only a little step to the establishment of a regional competition for several schools. This is organized as a special tournament in a way, which suits to all of the participants. In our district, there has also started an unofficial unregistered adults competition. For us teachers, it has been very pleasing that our former pupils were active by its foundation and promotion. Last but not least, thanks to the organization of amateur sporting activities at school, we have managed to discover talented children also for other sports. Floorball is a sport, without which we cannot imagine our school any more today. We are very honored that through Comenius Project also our foreign partners will find a way to this beautiful sport and we look forward to our next common sport meetings.
