HARRODS
Harrods is an upmarket department store located in Brompton Road in Knightsbridge, London. The
store occupies a 5-acre (20,000 m2) site and has over one million square feet (90,000 m 2) of selling
space in over 330 departments making it the biggest department store in Europe. The Harrods motto
is Omnia Omnibus Ubique — All Things for All People, Everywhere. Several of its departments,
including the seasonal Christmas department and the Food Hall, are world famous.

MARKET SQUARE
The market square (or sometimes, the market place) is a feature of many European towns. It is an
open area where market stalls are traditionally set out for trading, commonly on one particular day
of the week known as market day.
A typical English market square is usually situated in the centre of the town, surrounded by major
buildings such as the parish church, town hall, important shops and hotels, and the post office,
together with smaller shops and business premises. The entire area is a traditional meeting place for
local people as well as a centre for trade.
