Saddle tree
Majority of Kentaur saddles is built on classic flexible saddle trees which are lenghtwise
reinforced by spring steel. The body of these saddle trees is made of fiberglass with
polyester web straps.
New feature is saddle tree on model Titan, which is made of carbon fibres (mix of carbon
and kevlar fibres).
Sattelbaum
Die meisten Sättel der Firma Kentaur sind auf klassische, elastische Bäume, längs
gestützt mit Stahlfedern aufgebaut. Der Körper des Baumes ist aus Gurten gespanntem
Fieberglas hergestellt.
Im Widerristbereich ist ein austauschbares und veränderbares Kopfeisen vorhanden.
Die Neuheit ist der Sattelbaum beim Modell Titan, dieser ist aus Kohlefasern (Carbon und
Kevlarfasern) hergestellt.
Sedlová kostra
Většina sedel Kentaur je postavena na klasických elastických kostrách podélně vyztuženými pérovou ocelí. Tělo těchto koster je vyrobeno ze sklolaminátu s popruhovým výpletem.
V přední rozsoše je vyměnitelná a tvarovatelná kovová výztuha.
Novinkou je sedlová kostra u modelu Titan, která je vyrobena z uhlíkových vláken (sendvič z karbonových a kevlarových vláken).

Gullet bars
Pommels of the saddle trees are reinforced by iron gullet bars.
These gullet bars are exchangeable and adjustable. Gullet bars
can be adjusted with help of special pressure saddle machines
at cold state. However it is only possible to adjust the bar by
max. ±2 cm, otherwise molecular structure of the material can
be damaged which results in reduction of firmness of the gullet
bar.
The following widhts of the gullet bars are available:
1 – narrow 2 – medium 3 – medium wide 4 – wide
5 – extra wide
Kopfeisen
Die Sattelbäume sind im Widerristbereich mit einem
Metallkopfeisen verstärkt. Diese Verstärkung ist austauschbar
und veränderbar. Es ist möglich die Breite des Kopfeisens zu
verändern (im kalten Zustand), direkt am Sattel, mit Hilfe einer
Pressmaschine, um maximal 2 cm.
Bei einer größeren Biegung können molekulare Veränderungen
entstehen, welche das Material verändern und die Festigkeit
mindern.
Folgende Kopfeisengrößen
1 - schmal 2 - mittel 3 – mittelbreit 4 – breit 5 – extrabreit
Sedlové výztuhy
Sedlové kostry jsou v přední komoře vyztuženy kovovými
výztuhami. Tyto výztuhy jsou vyměnitelné a tvarovatelné.
Přetvarování výztuh je možno provádět za studena přímo
u sedla za pomoci speciálních sedlářských tlakových strojů.
Změny je možno udělat maximálně ±2 cm, jinak může dojít
k porušení molekulární struktury materiálu a tím snížení
pevnosti výztuhy.
Velikosti výztuh jsou následující:
1 – úzká 2 – střední 3 – střední širší 4 – široká
5 – extraširoká
For determination of a correct gullet bar width take the following
steps:
1) flex the withers measuring gauge in a place that lies two
fingers behind shoulder-bone of the horse and take the
crosswise measurement
2) choose a correct gullet bar width according to the angle that
is formed by the arms of that crosswise measurement
Für die richtige Feststellung der Kopfeisengröße empfehlen wir
folgende Schritte:
1) Mit einem Meßdraht formen sie ca. zwei Finger breit, hinter
der hinteren Kante des Schulterblattes den Widerristumriss
2) Messen sie die innere Winkelgröße
Pro zvolení správné šířky výztuhy doporučujeme následující
postup:
1) měřící drát vytvarujeme dle kohoutku koně cca dva prsty za
zadní hranou lopatky.
2) zaměříme úhel mezi rameny

This is just an orientation method that cannot serve as an
underlay for production of the saddle fitted to horse.

Latex panel
Infill of the panel is made of PU foam. The main advantage
of this panel is that it offers the rider an excellent contact
with his horse and it does not change its shape even after
longtime use. The disadvantage is that the shape of the panel
is unchangeable and the panel cannot conform to the shape
of the horse´s back.
Latexkissen
Die Füllung des Kissen besteht aus Polyuretanschaum. Der
Vorteil von diesem Kissen ist die Eigenschaft, es bietet den
Reitern einen engen Kontakt zum Pferd und auch bei langer
Nutzung verändert sich dessen Form nicht.
Das Kissen ist nicht veränderbar, es kann nur mit einer
Unterlage an den Pferderücken angepasst werden.
Wollkissen
Als Füllung benutzen wir vollsynthetische Wolle, welche sich
hervorragend an den Pferderücken anpassen kann. Diese
Wolle bleibt sehr lange weich und elastisch. Das Wollkissen
ist für Pferde sehr komfortabel, es hat eine sehr gute
Absorbierende Wirkung und der Sattler kann es individuell am
Pferd anpassen.
Sandwichkissen
Es ist eine Kombination vom Wollkissen und Latexkissen. Das
Kissen ist zuerst, von der Richtung des Pferedrückens aus,
mit PU-Schaum gefüllt und der Rest mit Wolle. Dieses System
ist für Pferde sehr komfortabel.
Die Oberfläche von dem Kissen ist glatt und gleichmäßig, es
passt sich dem Pferderücken an und lässt sich nachpolstern.

Höhe des Kissen
Bei Pferden mit hohem Widerrist und tiefer Rückenlinie ist
es notwendig den hinteren Bereich des Sattels mit höheren
Sattelkissen zu unterstützen. Es ist möglich das Wollkissen
mit einer Standardkeilhöhe oder erhörtem Keil um +1, + 2
oder +3 cm herzustellen.
Latexový polštář
Výplň polštáře je vyrobena z PU pěny. Výhoda tohoto polštáře
je, že poskytuje jezdci výborný kontakt s koněm a ani po
dlouhodobém používání nemění svůj tvar. Nevýhodou je, že
tvar polštáře je neměnný a polštář se nedokáže přizpůsobit
tvaru koňského hřbetu.
Wool stuffed panel
Fully synthetical wool which can conform to the horse´s back
is used for filling of the panel. This wool remains soft and
flexible even after long-time use. Wool stuffed panel is very
comfortable for the horse, has excellent absorbing abilities
and it is possible to individually fit it to the horse´s back.
Sandwich panel
A combination of wool stuffed and latex panel. The panel is
filled with a layer of PU foam (first part of the panel towards
the back of the horse) and the rest is filled with wool. This
system is very comfortable for the horse, the surface of the
panel is smooth without any disparities towards horses back
and it still can be filled with wool to adapt to horse´s back.

Height of the saddle panel
Horses with high withers and lower line of the back need
higher saddle panel in the back part of the saddle. Wool
stuffed panel is available in +1, +2 or +3 cm option.
Vlněný polštář
K nacpání polštáře je použita plně syntetická vlna, která se
dokáže přizpůsobit tvaru koňského hřbetu. Tato vlna zůstává
i po dlouhodobém používání měkká a pružná. Vlněný polštář
je pro koně komfortní, má výbornou tlumící schopnost a je ho
možno individuálně dotvarovat ke hřbetu koně.
Sendvičový polštář
Je to kombinace vlněného a latexového polštáře. Polštář je
vyplněn směrem od koně nejdříve vrstvou PU pěny a zbytek
je vyplněn vlnou. Tento systém je pro koně velmi komfortní,
povrch polštáře je hladký, rovný a rovnoměrný. Přitom se
dokáže přizpůsobit hřbetu koně a je možné ho docpávat.

Výška sedlového polštáře
U koní s vysokým kohoutkem a nižší linií hřbetu je třeba zadní
část sedla podepřít vyšším sedlovým polštářem. Vlněný

Saddle flaps – jumping saddles
Every jumping model in each seat size has its own standard size of the flaps and standard front
projection of the flaps.
It is possible to order saddle flaps with front projection + 2 cm or + 4 cm. In this case lenght
of the saddle flaps is also increased.
Sattelblätter des Springsattels
Sie haben bei jedem Modell ihre Standardgröße und ihren Vorschnitt. Auf Wunsch ist ein nach
vorne größerer Vorschnitt + 2 cm oder +4 cm bestellbar.
Mit einem größeren Vorschnitt vergrößert sich automatisch die Länge des Sattelblattes.
Bočnice skokových sedel
mají u každého modelu a velikosti svoji standardní velikost a vyklonění. Na přání zákazníka je
možno objednat bočnice s vykloněním +2 a +4 cm dopředu.
Spolu s větším vykloněním bočnic se zvětšuje i délka bočnic.

Every saddle is marked by individual and unique production
number which is printed at the bottom side of the left sweat
flap. Width of the gullet bar is printed under the production
number.

Jeder Sattel ist gekennzeichnet mit einer individuellen
Herstellungsnummer, welche in der Innenseite des
Schweißblattes geprägt ist. Darunter ist die Nummer der
Kopfeisengröße eingedruckt.

Only high quality hides from top european tanneries are used
for production of Kentaur saddles.
There are three options to choose from:
Standard leather – leather with smooth surface on the saddle
seat and saddle flaps. 1
Grain leather – saddle flaps are made of non-slip grain
leather with oily feel, seat and knee pads are made of non-slip
calf leather. 2
Double calf leather – comfortable version, saddle is
completely made of soft non-slip calf leather with oily feel. 3

Wir nutzen hochqualitative Produkte aus besten europäischen
Gerbereien.
Es besteht die Möglichkeit sich folgende Varianten
auszusuchen.
Standard – Leder mit glatter Oberfläche für den Sitz so wie für
die Sattelblätter. 1
Genarbtes Leder – Sattelblätter sind aus rutschfestem,
fetthaltigen, genarbtem Leder, die Sitzfläche und der
Kniebereich sind aus Kalbsleder. 2
Doppelte Ausführung – Komfortversion aus rutschfestem,
fetthaltigen, weichen Kalbsleder. 3
Kůže
K výrobě používáme pouze vysoce kvalitní usně z předních
evropských koželužen. Je možno si vybrat z následujících variant.
Standard – kůže s hladkým povrchem na posedlí i na bočnicích. 1
Dezénovaná kůže – bočnice sedla jsou z neklouzavé dezénované kůže s mastným omakem, posedlí a kolenní opěrky jsou
z neklouzavé teletiny. 2
Dvojité provedení – komfortní verze, kdy je celé sedlo vyrobeno z neklouzavé měkké teletiny s mastným omakem. 3

This modification of model Elektra is built on lower and opened saddle tree in the
front part, same tree which is used on models Artemis II and Kalypso. This saddle
tree offers bigger freedom in the area of trapezius muscles. The saddle is suitable
for horses with wide, well muscled distinct withers.

Dressursattel mit tiefen Sitz und zurückgeschnittener Kammer. Große Kniepauschen
mit anatomisch vorgeformten Sattelblatt fixieren hervorragend die Beine des Reiters. Das breite Wollkissen bietet die Möglichkeit einer individuellen Anpassung.

Diese Variante ist aufgebaut auf einen vorn tieferen und geöffneten Sattelbaum, welcher auch im Sattel Artemiss II und Kalypso vorhanden ist. Dieser Sattelbaum bietet mehr Freiheit des Trapezmuskels. Der Sattel ist geeignet für Pferde mit breiteren
und muskulösen Widerrist.

Classic dressage saddle built on deep cut back saddle tree. Medium big blocks.
Opened pommel offers big freedom in the area of trapezius muscles. Wide wool
stuffed saddle panel offers a good possibility to individually fit the saddle to the
horse.
Dressage saddle built on deep saddle tree with monoflap and anatomically shaped
outer block. Front part of the pommel is cast down backwards in the shoulder-bone
area which results in bigger freedom of the shoulder-bone. The saddle panel is also
shorter in the front area which supports comfortable movement. Delivered with
