Ing. Ondřej Kurkin (1984)
Graduate in automation design in the mechanical engineering field
at SPŠ technical high school and VOŠ in Chomutov. After
matriculation studied at University of West Bohemia in Pilsen in the
field of Machining Technology specialising in the Rationalization of
Production and Production. After graduation started doctorate
studies at the department of Industrial Engineering specializing in
Product Life Cycle Management in a Digital Factory.
After completing his engineering degree he participated in practical projects in the field
of product life cycle management, the simulation of production systems, ergonomics,
digital production and designing production systems. During his doctorate studies he
lectured and presented at several conferences in the Czech Republic and abroad (UK,
Croatia, Austria, Slovakia, Egypt, Malaysia, Poland and Italy)
He is working in the private sector since 2013 as the Head of Information Systems and
the Centre for Research, Development and Innovations at České zbrojovky a.s. where
he participated in implementing new methods and modern software tools for the support
of new product development. He was project manager and lead the project for the
Implementation of a PLM System, project of the Ergonomics on small arms (A
Technological Agency of Czech Republic grant project) and the project for the Digital
Factory Management.
