Train schedule is the same on both days.
Please note that you will need about 30-60 minutes after arrival to pick up your luggage. After you
do so, you need to transfer from the Václav Havel Airport (Praha Ruzyně) to the main train station
(Praha hlavní nádraží). Best way to do so is Airport Express bus. If you are in a hurry or the bus is late
or there is another complication, you can use official airport taxis. These taxis guarantee you fair prices.
You shouldn’t pay more than approximately 18€ for one way from the airport to the main station
(about 490 CZK). Some shady private taxis might ask you higher price if they realize you don’t speak
Czech. It is quite common behaviour in the capital city.
Airport Express
Airport Express goes regularly every 30 minutes from 6:00 to 22:00 and the journey lasts about 35
minutes depending on the traffic (expect around 45 +/- 10 minutes). The bus is standing there
approximately 10 minutes before departure and there are usually queues so try to be there in advance,
the bus might be full depending on the time of arrival.
We provide this information mainly so you can plan your journey and travel times in coordination
with the Airport Express bus and the train so everything goes smooth and you don’t have to wait too
long and you don’t miss anything. ;)
