First steps with HE Programming Software
● Start the HE Software:

Open
● If there is no existing configuration file to be opened please click on „New“

After clicking on „Level“ the
following window appears:
1st: Click on „Parameter read“
to get the programmed level
2nd: Activate the drop down
menu at „Channel A+B“
3rd: Activate the changes with
„Parameter write“
The programming of the card
is not necessary to activate
the changes

By changing from QAM 64 to QAM 256 the level is adapted automatically
NEVER compensate the outgoing cable attenuation by programming a
slope in the output level of the QAM transmodulators

transport stream
Remap filter can be used as
service filter as well if you
remap a PID to 0000

• transcodes two independent digital satellite signals

Used by Videorecorders; thanks to VPS these devices can react to shifted
start times, end times or cancelled broadcasts
In DVB-Standard the transmission of the VPS signal was not considered
(change of standard 1997: VPS will be generated from EIT)
