MANDATORY SAFETY MATERIAL

E-TRACK - GPS - TRANSPONDEUR
The race entry includes the rental of the following equipment : E-track, GPS, transponder.
The power cables, antennas and brackets are not included in the vehicle plates. Neither is the satellite phone,
which is mandatory.
DEPOSIT GUARANTEE
A deposit guarantee of 1300 euros (an uncashed cheque) will cover the eventual repair costs or loss of these
items.
LICENCES
EVERY COMPETITOR, WHETHER ON A MOTORBIKE, QUAD, CAR OR TRUCK
(DRIVERS AND CO-DRIVER(S)) MUST POSSESS AN :
- International FIM 2010 license for motorbike and quad riders.
- International FIA 2010 license for every driver and co-driver in the Car or Truck categories.

All participants from countries other than France must obtain an authorisation from their national sporting
authority to compete abroad.
The original copy of the license and the authorisation to race in another country must be presented
during administrative scrutineering.
AUTONOMY & FUEL
FOR MOTORBIKES AND QUADS
Motorbikes and quads must have a minimal autonomy of 250 km of timed stage over any kind of terrain.
For security reasons, an additional autonomy of 10% is recommended. Each competitor is personally responsible for the calculation of their own autonomy. They may not, under any circumstances, hold the organisers
responsible should the machine be unable to cover the minimal distance of 250 km.
Refuelling during the special stages is included in your motorbike or quad entry fee. During the liaison stages, the
participant must go to the various service stations mentioned in the road book.
FOR CARS AND TRUCKS
All vehicles must have a minimal autonomy allowing them to cover 800 km of timed stage over any kind of
terrain. A safety margin of at least an extra 10% is recommended.
Each competitor is personally responsible for the calculation of their own autonomy. They may not, under any
circumstances, hold the organisers responsible should the machine be unable to cover the minimal distance
of 800 km.
FOR ALL THE VEHICLES TAKING PART IN THE EVENT
The local petrol stations will be shown in the road book.
The organisers may eventually set up a refuelling station in the bivouac should there not be any petrol stations
in the near vicinity.
Should this be the case, depending on the profile and length of the stages (which will be given at a later date),
you will be able to order your fuel.

· A valid passport is mandatory
· The passport must have at least two blank pages and be valid until April 30th 2010 at least
· Depending on your nationality, please contact the embassies in question, as visas may be
necessary for Spain, Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal.
· Each participant is responsible for obtaining the visas they need.
