selbstverständlich sowohl für
öffentliche Aufträge als auch
für Wohninnenräume. Die
geschaffenen Objekte müssen
ihre eigene Logik und Respekt
zum Material haben . . .
. . . selbst die auf den ersten
Blick abstrakten Bilder
haben einen realen Grund.
Zur Transponierung ins
Reale brauchen sie nur eine
unterschiedliche Portion der
Fantasie des Betrachters. Das
Belassen dieses Spielraumes
halte ich für wichtig, denn durch
die Einbeziehung persönlicher
Initiative in den Dialog mit dem
Artefakt entsteht eine engere
Bindung . . .
LEDER
. . . a work of art has always to
present a harmonious component
part of the interior. That, of
course, goes both for public
commissions and for home
interiors. Objects are bound to
have their logics, they have to
respect the material . . .
. . . even at first sight, abstract
pictures have their real basis.
In order to be transformed
into the real world, they need
a certain degree of viewer´s
imagination. I consider this free
scope to be of great importance,
as the incorporation of personal
initiative into the dialogue with
the piece of art can give rise to a
closer relationship . . .

KUŽE
. . . výtvarné dílo musí být vždy
harmonickou součástí interiéru.
To samozřejmě platí u veřejných
zakázek i v bytovém interiéru.
Vytvářené objekty musejí mít svou
logiku a respekt k materiálu . . .
. . . i na první pohled abstraktní
obrazy mají svůj reálný základ.
Pro převedení do reálna potřebují
jen různou dávku divácké
fantazie. Ponechání tohoto
prostoru považuji za důležité,
protože zatažením osobní
iniciativy do dialogu s artefaktem
vzniká užší vztah . . .

MIROSLAV NOVOTNÝ
(*15.2.1955 v Českých Budějovicích)
vystudoval architekturu na Českém
vysokém učení technickém v Praze. Od
roku 1974 experimentoval s výtvarným
zpracováním kůže. Po skončení studií
vystavoval v galeriích Českého fondu
výtvarných umění. Pracuje až na výjimky
s kůží, kterou zpracovává vlastním
postupem. Vznikají tak obrazy, reliéfy,
volné plastiky i artefakty s užitnou
hodnotou. Od roku 1982 představuje svou
tvorbu na mnoha autorských i skupinových
výstavách u nás i v zahraničí. Realizace:
např. interiérová plastika pro Výzkumné
centrum v Dubnu u Moskvy (1985), pro
akciovou společnost ScoS v Č. Budějovicích
(1994), interiérové reliéfy a plastiky
v reprezentačních prostorách Moravských
chemických závodů v Praze (1995), vstupní
partie Státního oblastního archivu Třeboň
v Č. Budějovicích (1996), reprezentační
prostory a vstupní hala Jihočeské
plynárenské a.s. v Č. Budějovicích (1998),
interiér restaurace Gloria v Kongresovém
centru v Praze (spolu s Vlastimilem Teskou,
1999), keramický reliéf ve vstupní hale
Krajského úřadu v Č. Budějovicích (spolu
s Tomášem Prollem, 2000), vstupní hala
a reprezentační prostory ISŠ cestovního
ruchu v Č. Budějovicích (2001 – 2002), reliéf
„Medaile“ pro víceúčelovou halu v Horní
Stropnici (2003).
Miroslav Novotný vypracoval řadu návrhů
rodinných domů a spolu s dodavatelskými
firmami realizuje interiérové prvky
(nábytkové solitéry, kachlové krby a
další). Je členem Asociace jihočeských
výtvarníků.
MIROSLAV NOVOTNÝ
(* February 15, 1955 in České Budějovice)
is a graduate of architecture at the
Czech Technical University based in
Prague. Starting from 1974 he has been
experimenting with the graphic processing
of leather. After completing university
studies he exhibited his art in the galleries
of the Czech Fond of Visual Arts. Except
for a small number of artifacts, he has been
working exclusively with leather, which he
has processed applying his own technique.
This special technique gives rise to pictures,
reliefs, free sculptures as well as pieces of
art with utility value. Since 1982 he has
been presenting his work in many author´s
and group exhibitions both in our country
and abroad. Implementations: e.g. interior
sculpture for the Research Institute in
Dubno near Moscow (1985), for the jointstock company ScoS in Č. Budějovice
(1994), interior reliefs and sculptures in
the entrance halls of Moravian Chemical
Works in Prague (1995), the entrance
premises of the State Regional Archives
Třeboň in České Budějovice (1996), the
representation premises and lobby of the
corporation Jihočeská plynárenská a.s. in
Č. Budějovice (1998), the Gloria restaurant
interior of the Congress Centre in Prague
(together with Vlastimil Teska, 1999), the
ceramic relief in the lobby of the Regional
Government in Č. Budějovice (together
with Tomáš Proll, 2000), the entrance
hall and representative premises of the
vocational training center ISS cestovního
ruchu in Č. Budějovice (2001 – 2002), the
relief “Medal” for a multi-purpose hall in
Horní Stropnice (2003). Miroslav Novotný
has designed a number of family homes.
In co-operation with building contractors
he has been designing and implementing
interior decoration features (furniture,
ceramic stoves etc.). He is a member of the
Association of South-Bohemian Artists.
MIROSLAV NOVOTNÝ
(* 15.2.1955 in České Budějovice)
absolvierte das Architekturstudium an der
Tschechischen technischen Hochschule
in Prag. Seit 1974 experimentierte er
mit der künstlerischen Bearbeitung von
Leder. Nach dem Studienabschluss stellte
er in den Galerien des Tschechischen
Fonds bildender Künste aus. Er arbeitet
fast ausnahmslos mit Leder, das er
mit eigenem Verfahren verarbeitet. So
entstehen Bilder, Reliefs, freie Plastiken
und auch zum Gebrauch geeignete
Artefakte. Seit 1982 stellt er seine Werke
auf zahlreichen in- und ausländischen
Autoren- und Gruppenausstellungen aus.
Seine wichtigsten Realisationen z.B.:
Interieurplastik für das Forschungs-zentrum
in Dubna bei Moskau (1985), Plastiken für
die ScoS AG in České Budějovice (1994),
Interieurreliefs und –plastiken in den
Repräsentations-räumen der Mährischen
chemischen Betriebe in Prag (1995),
in der Eingangspartie des Staatlichen
Gebietsarchivs Třeboň in České Budějovice
(1996), in den Repräsentationsräumen und
in der Eingangshalle der Südböhmischen
Erdgas-AG in České Budějovice (1998),
im Interieur des Restaurants Gloria im
Prager Kongresszentrum (gemeinsam mit
Vlastimil Teska, 1999), keramisches Relief
in der Eingangshalle der Bezirksbehörde
in České Budějovice (gemeinsam mit
Tomáš Proll, 2000), mehrere Werke
in der Eingangshalle und in den
Repräsentationsräumen der Hotelfachschule
in České Budějovice (2001 – 2002), Relief
„Medaille“ für die Mehrzweckhalle in
Horní Stropnice (2003). Miroslav Novotný
schuf auch mehrere Architekturentwürfe
von Familienhäusern und realisiert in
Zusammenarbeit mit Lieferantenfirmen
Elemente für Ausstattungen von Interieurs
(Möbelsolitäre, Kachelkamine und
weitere). Er ist Mitglied der Assotiation
südböhmischer Kunstschaffenden.
