BASIC INFORMATION

SHUTTLE
Rock for People visitors can use the public trams and buses
of Hradec Králové on their way to the airport or the city center.
In the immediate vicinity of the Festival Park is bus stop
Letiště (bus #15 and #25) or U Lupínků in Hradec Králové –
Pouchov (bus #13). We will gladly provide you with detailed
transportation schedules at the Information Point.
Shuttle Bus
(Main Railway Station – Festival Park – Main Railway Station) There is a clearly marked bus which festival-goers will be able
to use for free: just show your valid ticket (bar code) or a festival
bracelet. This year we have significantly enhanced the shuttle
service thanks to a grant from the city of Hradec Králové.

SAFETY Looking after your safety this year will be 250 visibly-labeled
staff members in 170 positions. These are trained people
who will happily provide you with all available information
on Rock for People and also act as stewards for the event.
If you encounter any problems, for example unhelpful security,
problems with the health services, overflowing toilets, bad
food in a booth, or anything else then please contact us
either in the Information Stalls or at the Information Desk
on telephone number (+420) 602 782 587. We will try to
resolve your complaint immediately.
PHOTOGRAPHY, FILMING, & RECORDING
You are not allowed to bring professional photo apparatus,
cameras or other recording devices into the Festival Park.
At the entrance and other places in the arena, visitors will
be subjected to checks by security guards. You will be
refused entry if you are carrying any of the above devices.
Visitors can bring only non-professional automatic cameras
which do not use an external flash. This measure has been
introduced because of the contract limitations of some
performers, especially the headliners. Thank you at this
point for understanding and respecting the situation.
ID BRACELETS
When entering the festival area, and at random checks
within the area, every visitor is required to show their
ID bracelet to the security service. If you have an invalid
bracelet or cannot show your bracelet, you will not be
allowed to enter the festival arena, and/or be removed
from the arena by security guards.
INFORMATION POINT – SEZNAM.CZ Visitors this year will have two Seznam.cz Information
points at their disposal. Here you can ask questions and find
out actual information about the program, any timetable
changes, and about the service area. You will also find
information about departures and arrivals on transport links
to and from Hradec Králové and about shops or restaurants
nearby. The first Info Seznam.cz point is traditionally at
“the cross” in the Festival park (opening hours 9:00 to 18:00).
The second 24-hour zone is in front of the main gate to the
complex (opening hours 11:00 to 23:00). The popular t-music zone will be prepared with 500 charging
stations for mobiles. There will also be 10 laptops available
with internet access and a free wi-fi zone in the vicinity.
Another visible point will be t-music sky – housed in a double
decker tent. On the ground floor will be football and an
oasis of technology, where visitors will be able to see the
latest phones and tablets. The upper part gives T-Mobile
customers and their friends the chance to view the t-music
stage. We have prepared a present for you here in the form
of a T-mobile raincoat or a little T-mobile seat.
CZECH RAILWAYS TICKETS – TRAIN +
ROCK FOR PEOPLE 2011 Attention! All who have used the festival tariff train fare for
Rock for People 2011 must have their ticket stamped. The
place to have your ticket stamped is a 24-hour zone in front
of the entrance to the Festival Park. Without the stamp,
the original Czech Railways ticket becomes invalid and for
the return journey you will be required to pay the remaining
full fare and possibly a fine. FOOD & WATER Bottled drinking water at the festival is distributed exclusively
in special booths at a cost of 20 CZK per 1.5l bottle. Drinking
water is also available in the washrooms. In the case of
hot sunny weather, please drink alcohol sensibly and keep
yourself hydrated.
BEER & OTHER DRINKS Staropramen will offer a broad portfolio comprising of six
types of beer: Staropramen Cool Lemon, Light, Eleven,
draft non-alcoholic, Lager and Granát. Maximum comfort
is ensured this year with 142 beer taps located throughout
the arena. We will be ready to provide seating for more
than 3,500 visitors. Experts from the brewery will control
the quality of draft beer, focusing on the beer temperature,
the rate of demand for beer, and good measures. FIRST AID This year they are two First Aid points available. In the
24-hour zone in front of the main entrance gate there will
be first aid for some matters like wasp stings, minor
injuries, etc. If you have any problems during the night
in the campsite, we can treat you here or you can call
an ambulance and arrange transportation. There is an
established medical infirmary set up in the same place
as always. Here we will take care of you in the event of
a major problem. If you need to keep your medication
in a cool place, please arrange it with our health service.
In the event of an accident away from the festival medical
services, call 155 or 112.
LOCKERS
We will provide lockers for people in the campsite to store
their valuables this year. This service will be located at the
entrance to the Festival Park. This year‘s new feature is
the t-music ‘Festival Lockers’, which are located within the
Festival park. T-Mobile customers will have the opportunity
to store their stuff here for free, others for 50 CZK. INFORMATION

LOST & FOUND Any lost property should be reported directly to the organizers
- ideally in the locker area at the main entrance. Essential items
(glasses, credit cards, purses, etc.) will be retrieved prior to the
concerts and given directly to the organizer. Other items can
be picked up in the locker area if you are able to identify them.
