Cinema Glok / Kamera Oko
Company Profile
Cinema Glok is a distribution label of the company Kamera
Oko. Kamera Oko has been registered in 2010 by producer
and film curator Jakub Felcman as a legal body for the
organization of the Ostrava Kamera Oko International Film
Festival and independent curated curated events,
retrospectives and profile showcases.
Cinema Glok has been founded in 2011 to support, for Czech
and Slovak territories, theatrical release of films demanding
specific and long-term distribution strategy.
Since 2011 Cinema Glok distributed, among others,
Apichatpong Weerasethakul’s Mekong Hotel (Festival de
Cannes 2012), Corneliu Porumboiu’s Al doilea joc/Second
Game (Berlinale Forum 2013) , Michal Hogenauer’s Tambylles
(Festival de Cannes Cinéfondation 2012), Marianna Rondón’s
Pelo Malo (Donostia San Sebastian 2014) or Ale Abreu’s O
menino e o mundo.
