Serious Accidents Prevention Policy
The primary strategy of MG Odra Gas, spol. s r. o. is to reach such a level of safety to ensure
that its activities cannot result in endangering the lives and health of employees and residents
in the vicinity, property and the environment.
This strategy will be fulfilled through active application of a safety management system, the
primary aim of which is to let act each employee of MG Odra Gas, spol. s r. o. in a system,
preventive and co-responsible manner in all activities pursued by the company to prevent the
occurrence of, limit risks or remove consequences of an emergency situation. All the activities
shall be performed in accordance with legal regulations and corporate safety rules.
Promoting safety is an integral part of responsibility of all management levels, and all
employees shall take part in systematic perfection of the safety system. Not only employees
but also all people present on the company premises fall within the active system of
observance of safety.
MG Odra Gas, spol. s r. o. will continue to strive to support bilateral communication both
inside the enterprise and between the enterprise and the public.
The serious accidents prevention policy provides a framework for setting safety objectives,
their evaluation and incorporation of evaluation results into plans of company’s strategic
development. The enterprise shall allocate adequate means to achieve safety policy objectives.
The actual system of management of serious accidents shall be documented, evaluated by
means of objectives and audits and, subsequently, reviewed. Its procedures thus ensure a basic
framework for the process of continuous improvement of the state of safety and emergency
preparedness at MG Odra Gas, spol. s r. o.
