marked cycling trails. The trails go past several lookout towers with beautiful views of
the countryside. The Vysočina Region also

winter sports can use the local cross-country

Location: Town Dalešice is situated in the south-east of Vysočina region not far from town Třebíč. The
same name also belongs to a well-known valley reservoir built in the seventies. Around the reservoir
there are bike paths, however, its beauty can also be admired from aboard of a cruise boat Vysočina.
Castle ruins on an inaccessible island are a very unique sight. The location of this urban area also tempts
to take trips into the surroundings to admire natural beauties such as Mohelenská serpentine steppe
or the valley of rivers Jihlava and Oslava. In order to admire culture and monuments visitors can head
to Jaroměřice nad Rokytnou, Náměšť nad Oslavou or Třebíč whose Jewish quarter and St. Prokop basilica are on the list of world’s cultural heritage of UNESCO. The vast area can also be viewed from an
observatory Babylon.
Brewery: Brewery Dalešice have been a decorative article of Dalešice for more than 350 years. Known
by many from the already cultic Czech film Postřižiny. A visit to this unique place is like travelling in
time. You suddenly find yourself in the time of Austria-Hungary and the smell from the brewery lets you
know that once again they are brewing beer the old traditional way. In the well-preserved original part
there is a museum of Austria-Hungarian brewery and in the premises of the former malt plant you can
now visit a beer restaurant along with a gathering hall. A part of the complex is also a poetical hotel,
which offers comfortable rooms with their own social facilities. A rent of bikes as well as electro-bikes
is available to guests.

Location: Pension Bílek is located between Chotěboř and Ždírec nad Doubravou on the border of PLA

Location: Our newly constructed pension (finished in 2007) is located in the village Kadov u Sněžného
in the center of a protected landscape area Ždárské mountains. Žďárské mountains represent a unique
nature unit of the Czech-Moravian highlands and are one of the most visited protected landscape areas
in the region Vysočina. The location of our pension also represents an ideal accommodation for all those
who like to spend their holiday in the nature, but mostly for those who like active relaxation. In the
surrounding area there is a high number of both hiking and bike paths, local mountains and rocks are
used for climbing and in the winter a lot of country-cross skiing trails are well maintained.
Pension: The pension Klokočí offers you accommodation in six double-bed rooms which are comfortably furnished with their own social facilities, TV set and internet connection (both fixed and Wi-Fi).
There is a possibility for an additional bed in each room. One of the rooms provides accommodation
for disabled people – it is easily accessible and has customized social facilities and a separate entrance
directly from the parking lot. A stylish restaurant is also a part of the pension.

CAMP RADARKA / KONĚŠÍN
MILITARY
Location: Camp Radarka is located near the village Koněšín, which lies in a beautiful nature of CzechMoravian highlands near Dalešická dam and not far from town Třebíč whose Jewish quarter and basilica
of St. Prokop are on the list of UNESCO monuments. Other monuments and interesting places in the
surrounding area which are worth seeing include a castle in Náměšt nad Oslavou, a castle in Jaroměřice
nad Rokytnou, a castle in Velké Meziříčí, Western town Šiklův mlýn, upper town Jihlava or town Telč
whose historical core is on the list of UNESCO monuments and a lot more. A picturesque nature around
Dalešická dam is full of both hiking and cycling paths and a number of ruins. Dalešická dam and its wooded banks can be admired from a cruise boat Vysočina. It is also possible to visit a water power station,
a museum of Austrian-Hungary brewing in the area of Dalešický beer brewery or to view the land from
an observatory Babylon. Beautiful paths also lead through the valley of rivers Jihlava and Oslava or through the unique Mohelenská serpentine steppe.
Camp: Camp Radarka is a former military broadcasting station and it lies on an area of 3, 5 hectares. We
offer the possibility to borrow a military tent or to bring your own, social facilities and showers with warm
water, field buffet, Wi-Fi internet connection. Within the area there is a polygon for training rides in the
terrain, shooting range for bows and air guns and rappel platforms at altitudes of 12 and 18 meters.
Radarka is appropriate for families with children, gatherings of people from different groups of interest
(dog lovers, motorcyclists, veterans etc.), for organizing celebrations, birthday parties and so on. Our
customers can book paintball, survival course, self-defense, rappelling, rides on military vehicles, archery,
rafting and a number of other adrenalin activities.

round. A part of the cottage is a full equipped kitchen, stove, TV set, electronic darts, terrace with

Pension: It is a pension that is equipped and furnished in a simple but efficient way providing cozy
environment. All rooms have their own social facilities (toilet, shower). All rooms are equipped with
a refrigerator, water kettle and a radio. Cooking is possible in a shared kitchen with a cooker and a
microwave. One room is for disabled. Our guests have to their disposal a large garden, fireplace, sandpit
and a pool or they can choose to play table tennis, petanque or just sit and relax in the shade under the

Location: This recreational object is located in a quiet and very beautiful village Oudoleň which lies on
the border of PLA Green Mountain and PLA Žďárské Mountain not far from Havlíčkova Borová. The
surrounding area offers both hiking as well as bike paths. Thanks to vast forests those who love picking
mushrooms will find here ideal conditions in autumn months. In the winter months this area provides
ideal conditions for skiers as there are well maintained tracks for country-cross skiing and for those who
prefer downhill skiing there are within the distance of 10 km 3 ski lifts. In the nearby area you can also

A WEEK OF HORSE-RIDING AND PARAGLIDING
Location: Pension Kadlečák*** lies south-west from Světlá nad Sázavou, less than 3 km from the
town’s center in the part Horní Březinka. The pension is a reachable distance away from a well-preserved
nature full of forests, plains and groves providing conditions great for relaxation as well as active leisure.
One of the targets of your visit could be a nature sanctuary Stvořidla where you can also find the famous
Sun bay, a scene from the tale ‘Foglar’s fast arrows’ or the geometric center of the Czech Republic in
Číhošt or an outdoor museum Michal’s manor in Pohledi. Other places worth visiting include Ledeč nad
Sázavou along with its massive castle, castle ruins Chřenovice, castle Lipnice nad Sázavou, medieval
underground in Světlá nad Sázavou, historical towns Havlíčkův Brod, Jihlava, Pelhřimov, Humpolec and
a number of other attractive destinations.
Apartments: Pension Kadlečák is a family pension with the possibility of self-catering. Apart from

Location: The touristic cottage Duha lies in the middle of Vysočina in a PLA Žďárské vrchy among beautiful deep forests providing great relaxation while for example picking mushrooms or sports for active
relaxation – hiking, cycling, orientation run, dog sled races, skiing or well maintained trails for countrycross skiing and so forth. The cottage is located in the village Tři Studně where nearby ponds Sykovec
and Medlovský pond tempt to boat rides or swimming. In nearby town Žďár nad Sázavou our guests
can visit not only a castle but also and mainly the pilgrimage church of Jan Nepomucký on the Green
mountain which is on the list of world’s cultural heritage UNESCO. In Nové Město na Moravě there is

Cottage: The main building has recently undergone remodeling and apart from kitchen and a larger
dinning room it also offers a TV room and a terrace. A part of this main building is also a smaller cottage for maximum 12 people. Our guests also have the possibility to store their sports equipment in
another one of the buildings. Within the premises there are a volleyball field, swing set and a fireplace.
It also provides parking places. In the summer it is possible to swim not only in the ponds but guests
can also use the swimming pool in hotel U Loubů or they can choose to climb a nearby climbing wall.
In the winter the country-cross skiers can run 4 km of maintained trails of the world cup by the hotel
Ski in Nové Město na Moravě, and the lovers of ski slopes will surely like to visit Harusův hill with a ski
lift which is about 4 km away.

Location: The pension with a restaurant by Česká koruna is located in a picturesque town called Lipnice
nad Sázavou which is well known thanks to a writer Jaroslav Hašek. The dominating feature of the town
is one of the mightiest Czech castles whose courtyard is used, mainly in summer months, as a concert
and a theatrical scene or it becomes lively with performances of swordsmen. In a small house below
the castle you can visit an exhibition which focuses on life and work of a well-known writer and author
Švejk Jaroslav Hašek who is buried at the local cemetery. In the natural area of a quarry not far from
the town there is a triptych of rock granite reliefs „National monument of monitoring“. The visitors to
Lipnice nad Sázavou can also visit close-by towns of Havlíčkův Brod, Světlá nad Sázavou or Humpolec.
Pension: The pension by Česká koruna used to be a frequent retreat of Jaroslav Hašek and is currently
run by the family of Hašek’s grandson. Even today there can still be found a lot of accoutrements from
the time of Jaroslav Hašek’s infliction. All guests to the pension have to their disposal not only a gothic
wine cellar and a stylish restaurant with a vast choice of traditional Czech meals but also for example
sauna or a playroom for their children. Bikers will surely appreciate the rich network of bike paths.

Location: Atelier KVAK in located in village Koněšín which lies in a beautiful nature of Czech-Moravian

Club: Ski club Velké Meziříčí offers accommodation in a ski chalet which is situated directly in the area
of the ski center with a capacity of 38 beds. Two to six-bed rooms are simply furnished and have mutual
social facilities. This area is due to its accessibility and pleasant environment very popular. It offers ideal
conditions for those who like skiing, snowboarding, country-cross skiing but also hiking. Available to

PELHŘIMOV TICKET / PELHŘIMOV
Pelhřimov: The original settlement from the 12th century was own by Prague’s bishops – according to
the tradition the establisher of the town was bishop Pelhřim (lat. Pelegrina), from whom it obtained a
number of privileges owing to what it became the trade center of its surroundings. New crafts started
to form in the town – drapery, linen, weaving, or gingerbread making. During the reign of Mikuláš Trčka from Lípa from 1437 new decorative town houses, walls and high gates were built. A chateau was
built in the upper part of the square in the middle of the 16th century. In 1572 after years of dispute
with authorities the town recovered from servitude and in 1596 Pelhřimov, the imperia of Rudolf II. was
commissioned to a royal town. Peaceful development of the town was ended by the Thirty Years’ War.
In 1766 most houses were destroyed by fire and new houses were built in baroque style.

MUTUAL TICKET TO MUSEUMS AND GALLERIES ESTABLISHED BY THE REGION VYSOČINA
“Mutual ticket to museums and galleries established by the region Vysočina” is a project initiated in 2008
which enables you to exploit price-preferred mutual ticket to these institutions. It is available in three different
versions – full-price ticket for 120 CZK, reduced-price ticket for children, students and seniors for 60 CZK and
collective ticket for school classes for 300 CZK and it is available in 4 museums, and in 4 of its branch offices
and 3 galleries in the region Vysočina. It can be used in three different ways: successive visits to all the stated
institutions, single or multiple visits to chosen institutions or twelve visits to one chosen institution. The ticket
is transferable and can therefore be used by more than one person until 31.12.2011.

Museum is in the premises of the chateau rebuilt from a Benedictine monastery. The exhibitions document
nature, historical development of population and crafts as well as the development of pipe making, tradition

The museum is located in two different buildings (“Masné krámy” and “zámek”). In the chateau there is an
exhibition focused on the development of local crafts as well as the history of Moravské Budějovice. Crafts
