ABOUT THE PROJECT
InterActive EuroCulture is a youth exchange that will take place at the closest
University City to the Eastern border of the European Union – Iasi, situated in Romania.
Are you familiar with the European Capital of Culture concept? This ingenuous way
to connect three distinct subjects: culture, european citizenship and volunteering has
inspired us to apply the same mix of ideas in a youth exchange. During 10 days we
will experience non-formal learning through study visits at places where the culture is
quietly sipping its cocktail, debates about letting the “european” to enter the culture
zone, workshops in which every participant will play the role of a cultural manager and
the chance of getting into the cultural spotlight of the city by organizing an event.
You have the possibility to discover the role of culture in both building the european identity
and establishing human connection, develop competencies of cultural management and
apply principles of active citizenship in the development of your community from the
cultural perspective.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
The youth exchange is targeted for young
people who are interested in community
development through culture, culture in
general and active citizenship.
This workshop is for you if:
