Human Serum, Type AB
Human serum provides an environment closely to physiological conditions for sensitive human cells lines. Moreover
Human AB+ Serum lacks antibodies against the A and B blood type antigens that could react with the cultured cells.
The whole blood is allowed to spontaneously clot before the serum component is separated. These individual units of
serum are then pooled, sterile filtered, bottled and cell culture tested for mycoplasma, endotoxin, and sterility.

Isolation of lymphocytes from peripheral blood.
LSM ® Lymphocyte Separation Medium
MP Biomedicals LSM ® is a proprietary formulation which allows one step separation
of lymphocytes from peripheral blood. After centrifugation the pellet consists mostly of
erythrocytes and granulocytes which have migrated through the gradient. Due to their
density, lymphocytes and other mononuclear cells (platelets and monocytes) are found at
the plasma-LSM ® interface.

Mono- Poly™ Resolving Medium
There is a need for a rapid, simple and reliable method of isolating lymphocytes from
