From Chrastava to European markets

CHRASTAVA
The history of the company dates from the end of 19th
century. In 1882 established baron Klinger a textile factory. In
the years of World War II. was the factory a part of the
Spreewerke armament concern. The factory was nationalised
in 1945. Its began to write the story of the Kovoprůmyslové
závody – Textile machinery works.
The products – thrilling, drying, fixing and spinnning machines - were
distributed mostly to the former SU-market and the other European socialst
countries. The machines were designed on the technical level of the world
leading producers. Since the end of the 20th century the company Elitex
production manufactured machinery.
Thereafter, the Elitex CZ, joint stock company, reconstructed the
productions rooms step by step, modernised the technological equipments of
the works significant. Therefore Elitex CZ was growing to a modern industrial
firm, bringing potentialities offering services for other producers and business
partners – if direct manufacturing or co-operations.
