a.; Responsibilities: Commanders and drivers are responsible that
Phase 4 (de-waterproofing) inc3.uding necessary preventive maintenance be performed
as soon as possible. A special kit is issued, to each vehicle to provide the
necessary materials for,this operation.
,b. De-waterproofing Areas: ESB will establish de-waterproofing
areas for the accomplishment of the initial stages of Phase 4, for units subse­
quent to the assault.
c.. Salvage: Waterproofing materials will be salvaged -to the maxi­
mum possible extent. Saivage material will be turned in to de-T/aterproofing areas
or Ordnance Maintenance Companies.
