SCSP2016 CfP - First announcement
Smart Cities Symposium Prague 2016
organized by the Czech Technical University in Prague, Faculty of Transportation Sciences
in cooperation with the Euro American Association on Telematics and Information Systems
Dear Colleagues,
Having received a positive feedback after the Smart Cities Symposium Prague 2015, we have decided
to organize the second Smart Cities Symposium Prague that will take place on May 26, 2016
and May 27, 2016 in Prague, Czech Republic.
The upcoming Symposium will cover the following key areas:
•
System approach to Smart Cities transformation
•
Information and data processing, algorithms, agents, simulation and prediction
•
Technologies for Smart Cities
•
Social aspects of Smart Cities
•
Best practices for Smart Cities transformation
As was the case of the previous Symposium, you may expect the upcoming Symposium to be
a multidisciplinary forum for exchanging ideas and best practices in the field of Smart Cities over
theoretical background but not neglecting the real world applications.
We aim to receive the IEEE technical sponsorship as we had received for the previous Symposium.
The International Journal of Transportation Science & Technology will be publishing a special issue on
Smart Cities. Authors of outstanding papers from SCSP 2016 will be invited to submit full papers for
review and publication in this special issue.
We welcome you to submit your full papers by February 29, 2016.
For details on the Smart Cities Symposium Prague, please see the Symposium’s website at
