Pavel Hlavatý,
peintre et illustrateur tchèque,
grand spécialiste de l’Art de son pays et de l’Art Erotique,
a été désigné "Artiste européen le plus prolifique" par
l’association belge GRAPHIA, association cinquantenaire
de collectionneurs et dessinateurs d'ex-libris, ces petites
perles de l'estampe.
A 23 ans, il devient le plus jeune membre de la fameuse
Association des artistes tchèques. Pour avoir participé à
la "Protest-Drawings Exhibition - 68" s’insurgeant contre
l’invasion et l’occupation de son pays, il est emprisonné et
artistiquement isolé car associé directement au "Printemps
de Prague". Il est donc interdit de conférence, de publication
et d’exposition. Il n’est réhabilité qu’avec la "Révolution de
velours" en 1989.
Depuis 1977, il se consacre à l’illustration (gravures, ex-libris, etc...). Très actif sur
la scène internationale auprès des artistes et des collectionneurs, il collabore à de
nombreuses revues d’art, organise de nombreux concours et événements en particulier
le Triennal Festival International d’Art Érotique de Havirov, sa ville.
Jusqu’à ce jour, il a obtenu 49 prix internationaux et a fait plus de 200 expositions
personnelles à travers le monde. Pour celle-ci, il invite 20 artistes et ensemble ils
présentent plus de 400 gravures érotiques! Ce n’est que le début d’une intéressante
collaboration avec le Musée de l’Érotisme de Paris, qui se poursuivra dès 2013 par une
grande exposition de graveurs chinois découverts par Pavel Hlavatý
