and accessories that you are already familiar with but also many interesting new items. Among some of these novelties are server
network cabinet applications with maximum ventilation, increased side panel ventilation, new rear panel sections, and new front doors.
The catalogue also contains a useful novelty - a mounting design to help you assemble cabinets that are delivered in parts. I hope that

Je urËena pro instalaci vyûadujÌcÌ snÌûenou v˝öku
horizont·lnÌch aplikacÌ. KoncepËnÏ vych·zÌ ze
sk¯ÌnÏ na podlahu ZERAK 3000. Z·kladnÌ zmÏna je
v provedenÌ boËnÌch stÏn sk¯ÌnÌ, kterÈ v sobÏ
spojujÌ nosnÈ p¯ÌËky pro uchycenÌ 19î nosnÌk˘
v jeden kompaktnÌ celek.
The wall-mounted cabinet ZERAK 2000 is intended
for installations that require a lowered height of
horizontal applications. Its conception is derived
from the free-standing cabinet ZERAK 3000. The
cardinal modification consists in the design of
the side panels of the cabinet: together with the
19" panel/slide mounts, they form a compact unit.

This cabinet is produced in five nominal heights:
4U, 6U, 9U, 12U, 15U
and two variations:
a) single section cabinet, depth 400 mm
b) double section cabinet, depth 500 mm
Both double section and single section cabinets
contain a rear part which has a depth of 100 mm.
This rear part is connected to the front part by
means of door hinges and a lock. These features
enable the user to enter the cabinet from two
directions. The swing front part makes it easy to
mount any equipment inside the cabinet.

The dimensions of a 42U ZERAK 8000 cabinet are
derived from ZERAK 3000 with a modification of its
width to 800 mm. The cabinet can be equipped with
inner reduction mounts that reduce its width from 27î
to 19î. The front door of this cabinet has two handles.
The construction of the cabinet makes it possible
to change freely its disposable depth by shifting
the placement of the panel/slide mounts. When used
for larger applications, two or more cabinets can be
combined into a single compact unit. The maximum
depth available for the installed equipment is 550 mm.
The degree of protection is IP 40.
The cabinets are equipped with a swivel handle and
a safety lock. The door can be made of:

The door is normally hinged on right but it can also
be hinged on left on request.
This cabinet has a side panel and a rear panel with
locks which can both be taken apart. The rear panel
can be in one unit or can be assembled from a full
rear plate and a supplementary panel.

100 mm. This height can be doubled or tripled by
mounting individual bases/plinths on top of one

These panel/slide mounts are manufactured and
supplied in pairs. By mounting them on depth
members, you can place them in any depth inside
the cabinet. The distance between the panel/slide
mounts is the 19" standard. They are manufactured
and supplied for all types of wall-mounted and
free-standing ZERAK cabinets.
The surface texture of the panel/slide mounts is
painted black RAL 9005.
Upon a customerís request, the panel/slide
mounts can be zinc-plated by galvanization.

The cable support rail is an interesting accessory
that serves for cable management - for clamping
cables that lead towards patch-panels. It is

and 4U. It is mounted below patch-panels onto
panel/slide mounts for panel mounting. The
cable support rail consists of three parts: two
side parts for mounting into the 19" frame and
a perforated rail. This rail is directly used for
clamping cables by means of strings or PVC plastic
cable support strips. For cable support rails of 2U
and more, it is possible to fix up to four perforated
rails to the side parts.

construction allows air to enter and, consequently,
dust to deposit on the installed connections. The

The monitor holder serves for a quick and easy
placement of almost any 14î-17î monitor into
a 19î cabinet. A monitor is fixed in the monitor box
with adjustable supports. Plastic foam deliminative
prisms protect the monitor screen from dirt.
Further screen protection is provided with plexiglass,
which can be replaced with glass upon
a customerís order. The replaceable front panel
enables access to the controls of the monitor. Two
variants are supplied - for a 14î-15î monitor and
a 17î monitor. The monitor box occupies 9U inside
a cabinet.

V tomto p¯ÌpadÏ je splatnost kupnÌ ceny uvedena na daÚovÈm dokladu
prod·vajÌcÌho. SplatnostÌ se rozumÌ datum, kdy Ë·stka byla p¯ips·na na ˙Ëet
prod·vajÌcÌho.

Pro prodej jsou stanoveny dvÏ dealerskÈ kategorie D1 a D2. PodmÌnky pro

nep¯edvÌdateln˝mi okolnostmi jako jsou zmÏny v celnÌch sazb·ch, kurzech
mÏn atd.

Delivery Terms
The buyer takes the goods over after signing the bill of delivery (in full name,
legibly). By signing this bill of delivery, the buyer certifies taking over the
goods in the listed quantity and assortment and the fact that the goods does
not have any visible defects or damage. If the goods is being delivered then
the buyer has to check the goods before taking it over from the transportation
company. Should the buyer find any faulty or damaged items, he has to make
an immediate claim. All costs incurred in relation to the transportation are
covered by the recipient.
All agreements about delivery dates have to be made in writing. All delivery
times depend on a timely delivery of the goods from the suppliers to the seller.
Payment Terms
The buyer can make use of the three following possible ways of payment:
a) payment in cash when taking the goods over (if the goods is sent by mail,
the payment will be cash on delivery)
b) prepayment (prior to the delivery) in the form of a bank transfer based on
a pro-forma invoice
c) standard payment with a maturity date (an invoice)
The payment for the first order can only be in cash or in the form of
prepayment (see a) and b)). In the case of prepayment, the goods will be
reserved for you in our warehouse for 30 days from the day of issue of the
pro-forma invoice. Once your payment of the pro-forma invoice is received,
the goods will be immediately dispatched to you. Either of the following
documents (when taking the goods over in person) or its legible copy is
taken as a proof of payment:
1) bank statement for the given amount, with a legible bank stamp
2) bank payment order for the given amount, certified by the bank, with the
code number and the account number according to the pro-forma invoice.
These documents can be sent by fax.
In the case of a long-term cooperation and a good payment history, more
convenient payment conditions and a later maturity date can be agreed upon.
The maturity date is then listed on the sellerís tax document. Maturity date is
understood as the date when the payment was received at the sellerís
account.
Dealer Categories and Prices
There are two categories of dealers - D1 and D2. The conditions regulating the
dealer categories are as follows:
D1
companies that buy 1 - 9 cabinets each month
D2
companies that buy 10 - 50 cabinets each month
Other discounts can be negotiated individually depending on particular
deliveries. The prices listed in the price list do not include VAT and
transportation costs. All prices are valid until either a supplement or a new
price list is issued. The seller reserves the right to change the prices in
relation to unforeseeablecircumstances such as customs duty changes, rate
of exchange fluctuations, etc.
REKLAMA»NÕ PODMÕNKY / COMPLAINT PROCEDURE
Reklamovat lze pouze zboûÌ, kterÈ bylo zakoupeno u firmy
MegaNET spol. s r.o.. Z·kladnÌ z·ruËnÌ doba je jeden rok, nenÌ-li uvedeno jinak.
Tato doba zaËÌn· bÏûet dnem p¯ed·nÌ zboûÌ kupujÌcÌmu nebo dohodnutÈmu
dopravci (ß425 obchodnÌho z·konÌku) a prodluûuje se o dobu z·ruËnÌ opravy
v˝robku. V p¯ÌpadÏ v˝mÏny zboûÌ se z·ruËnÌ lh˘ta neprodluûuje.
P¯i uplatnÏnÌ reklamace je kupujÌcÌ povinen doruËit zboûÌ na vlastnÌ
n·klady a v p˘vodnÌm obalu. Spolu s reklamovan˝m zboûÌm je nutno p¯edat
kopii dodacÌho listu nebo faktury a pÌsemn˝ popis z·vady (û·dost o reklamaci).
Nebudou-li splnÏny v˝öe uvedenÈ z·leûitosti, reklamace nebude uzn·na
a zboûÌ bude vr·ceno zpÏt kupujÌcÌmu na jeho n·klady. O opr·vnÏnosti
reklamace a zp˘sobu odstranÏnÌ z·vady rozhoduje prodejce. Reklamaci
m˘ûe v˘Ëi dodavateli uplatnit pouze prvnÌ kupujÌcÌ, nem˘ûe ji postoupit dalöÌ
osobÏ.

A complaint can be placed only on the goods that has been purchased from
MegaNET Ltd. The basic guarantee period is one year if not stated otherwise.
The guarantee period begins on the day when the goods is taken over either
by the buyer or the contracted transportation agent (Commercial Code,
ß425) and is extended for the period during which the product is under
repair. The guarantee period is not extended when the goods is exchanged.
When making a claim, the buyer is obliged to deliver the goods in its
original packing and at his own expense. The product has to be
accompanied with a copy of the appropriate bill of delivery or invoice and
a written description of the defect (a complaint). If these conditions are not
met, the complaint cannot be dealt with and the goods will
be returned to the buyer at his own expense. The power to decide whether
the claim is justified or not rests with the seller, who also decides about
the way in which it will be dealt with. A complaint can be made only by the
first buyer, who cannot cede it to anybody else.

A complaint concerning a mechanically damaged product has to be made
immediately when taking the goods over in person, or, if the goods is
delivered by a transportation company, on the day of the delivery. The same
holds true for incomplete deliveries. The seller will not consider any complaints
for damaged products or incomplete deliveries made later.
The guarantee does not cover:
- any damage caused by unauthorised interference with the equipment
- any damage that may result from such uses that are different from
those intended by the manufacturer
- any damage caused by inappropriate storage
- any damage caused during the transportation (the transportation
company is responsible for the goods)
- any damage caused by inappropriate mounting or mechanical damage

How can you most efficiently decide about the size and
the component layout of your network cabinet?

As an example, we outline two easy possible solutions:
a) veöker· za¯ÌzenÌ, kter· chcete do sk¯ÌnÏ umÌstit tj. patch-panely, aktivnÌ
za¯ÌzenÌ, UPS, ventilaËnÌ jednotky, zaslepovacÌ a vyvazovacÌ panely, 19î
police pro optiku atp. si poznaËÌte na protilehlÈ stranÏ. ZjistÌte jejich
velikost v jednotk·ch ìUî, ìUNITî (1U = 44,46 mm) a tyto velikosti k nim
p¯i¯adÌte. Velikosti v ìUî seËtete, p¯id·te dle vlastnÌho uv·ûenÌ rezervu
(velikost rezervy je individu·lnÌ, musÌte vöak poËÌtat do budoucna
s rozöÌ¯enÌm Ëi jin˝mi ˙pravami, kdy kaûd· voln· ìUì pozice bude vÌt·na).
K takto zÌskanÈmu souËtu p¯i¯adÌte nejbliûöÌ vÏtöÌ velikosti sk¯ÌnÏ. TÌm jste
zÌskali optim·lnÌ v˝öku.
a) Note down all the equipment that you want to place in the network
cabinet, i.e. patch-panels, active equipment, UPS, fan units, blank filler
and clamping panels, 19" shelves for fiber optic connectors, etc. on the
opposite page. Find out the dimensions of these appliances in units "U"
(1U=44,46 mm) and write them down. Then count the "U" dimensions
and add a sufficient margin (this is very individual but you should not
fail to take into consideration a future network enlargement or other
space modifications when each free "U" position is welcome). Once you
have this final sum, find the nearest larger dimension of ZERAK network
cabinets. In this way you will determine the optimal height.

individu·lnÌ, musÌte vöak poËÌtat do budoucna s rozöÌ¯enÌm sÌtÏ Ëi jin˝mi
˙pravami a kaûdÈ volnÈ ì U ì bude vÌt·no). K takto zÌskanÈmu souËtu
p¯i¯aÔte nejbliûöÌ vÏtöÌ velikost sk¯ÌnÏ. TÌm jste zÌskali optim·lnÌ v˝öku.

individual "U" units) all equipment that you will need, i.e. patch-panels,
active equipment, UPS, fan units, blank filler and clamping panels,

the "U" units in the exact place in the cabinet. Always begin from the
bottom and work your way up to the top. By drawing out the layout in
this way, you will achieve the appropriate height. To this, add a sufficient

space modifications when each free "U" position is welcome). Once you
have this final sum, find the nearest larger dimension of ZERAK network
cabinets. In this way you will determine the optimal height.
