A group for those who admire the Araloosa -- a combination of Appaloosa and Arabian blood
blending the best both breeds can offer for a durable, colorful, beautiful, versatile horse.
Leopard, Blanket, Roan, and more---colorful coat patterns are the crowning glory of the
refined, spirited, personable, elegant Araloosa--Also known as the AraAppaloosa or
Arappaloosa.
Many Araloosas can be registered with the Appaloosa Horse Club (ApHC), International
Arabian Horse Association (IAHA) as Half-Arab, the AraAppaloosa and Foundation Breeders
International (AAFBI), or the Ponies of the Americas (POA) to name a few... offering
Araloosa enthusiasts a myriad of options to showcase, market, and enjoy their horses.
Discussion is to remain business oriented. Topics will include breeding, showing, history, and
bloodlines of the Araloosa and its contributing breeds. Also developing and maintaining new
and existing programs and registries dedicated to the identity, promotion, advertising, and
success of the Araloosa, and offering support for its owners and breeders. Development of the
Araloosa Horse International will be a focus.

„AraAppaloosa je klasický kůň sdružení chovatelů Appaloos v kombinaci s Arabským
plnokrevníkem, jehož kořeny sahají do starověku. AraAppaloosa je ještě vytříbená
vytrvalostí, inteligencí a excelentními schopnostmi, živostí. Může být vyšší nebo nižší, to
v závislosti na krvi rodičů a je často lehčího typu a více atletické postavy než Appaloosa. Pro

ARTICLE 1002. REQUIREMENTS AND PROCEDURES FOR DOMESTIC HALF-ARABIAN
HORSES
A horse conceived and born in the United States, or Mexico may be registered as a half Arabian if the
following requirements are met:
1. One parent of the horse is registered as a purebred Arabian horse with either the Arabian Horse
Association or the Canadian Arabian Horse Registry (for imports refer to Article 1006.); and
2. The non-Arabian parent of the horse is not a registered Anglo-Arabian or a registered
Thoroughbred or an unregistered purebred Arabian, and
3. The requirements of Article 1008. (42-day Rule), Article 1009 (artificial insemination) and Article
1019 (embryo/oocyte transfer) are met.
4. Alternatively, the horse may be registered in the Half-Arabian Horse Registry if the horse would
qualify for registration in the Anglo-Arabian Horse Registry except that it has more than 75% Arabian
blood.
5. An application for registration, on the appropriate form provided by the AHA Registry, has been
completed, signed by the appropriate recorded owner(s) (or by the person whom the recorded
owner(s) has authorized in writing to sign the application) and filed with the AHA Registry;
6. A mule, hinney, or any animal other than a horse is not eligible for registration.
7. If a sire or dam is dual registered with AHA and another breed registry, the Half-Arabian or AngloArabian Horse Registry must use the AHA registration number and recorded ownership information to
register a foal. (BOD 1/03)
8. The registration fee for domestic half-Arabian horses has been paid.
MISCELLANEOUS
9. Horses registered as Half-Arabians may not hold Arabian papers simultaneously with another
registry.
10.
Horses registered as purebred Arabians with foreign registries for which AHA registration has
been requested will be reviewed for purebred status.
11.
If a horse is deemed to be a purebred Arabian through a foreign registry yet meets the AHA
criteria as a Half-Arabian, the owner must relinquish the foreign Arabian papers to AHA as a condition
of registration.
Kůň zplozený a narozený ve Spojených státech nebo Mexiku může být zaregistrován jako

Jeden rodič koně je registrovaný jako čistokrevný Arabský kůň v Arabian Horse

Anglický plnokrevník nebo nezaregistrovaný Arab.
Náležitosti článku 1008 (pravidlo 42 dnů), 1009 (umělá inseminace) a článku 1019
(přenos embryí) jsou přípustné.
Eventuelně může být kůň zaregistrován v Half-Arabian Horse Registry, pokud je
kvalifikovaný být zaregistrován v Anglo-Arabian Horse Registry, kromě toho, když
má více než 75% arabské krve.
Aplikace pro registraci, na odpovídajících formulářích dodaných AHA Registry,
budou kompletní, podepsané patřičnou osobou (nebo osobou, která má právo od
majitele k podepsání) a vyřízené s AHA Registry.
Mezci, muly ani jiná zvířata než koně nejsou přípustní k registraci.
Pokud je jeden z rodičů dvakrát registrován (v AHA a nějaké jiné asociaci-Half
Arabian Horse Registry nebo Anglo-Arabian Horse Registry), musí používat
registrační číslo AHA a informce o majiteli k registraci hříběte.
Musí být zaplacené příslušné poplatky.
Nezařazené
9. Koně registrovaní jako polo-arabové nemohou mít Arabské papíry zároveň s jinými.
10. Koně registrovaní jako čistokrevní arabové s odpovídajícími papíry AHA budou
posuzováni podle statutu čistokrevných koní.
11. Když byl kůň považován za čistokrevného araba v cizím registru a v AHA je
považován za polo-araba, majitel musí odstoupit od cizích registrací a koně správně
zaregistrovat v AHA.
