Ujistěte se, že je svítidlo odpojeno od elektrického
proudu a z okolí jsou odstraněny všechny překážky.
Kromě toho zkontrolujte, zda je svítidlo vhodné pro
použití LED trubice. LED trubice Valtavalo G3 nahrazuje zářivkové trubice v tradičních svítidlech, kde se
elektroinstalace skládá z elektromagnetického předřadníku, startéru a T8/T10 fluorescenční (zářivkové)
trubice. Pokud svítidlo obsahuje kondenzátor pro
kompenzaci účiníku, je třeba jej před instalací odstranit. Ve zvláštních případech, kdy dochází ke změnám
ve svítidle, např. přepojením vodičů, vzniká nové svítidlo, za něž původní výrobce nenese odpovědnost.
Musí být proto znovu posouzeno, zda je svítidlo v
souladu se standardy. Jejich splnění se označí novou
značkou CE. V nejasných případech kontaktujte Valtavalo Ltd.

att LED-lysröret kan användas i armaturen. Valtavalos G3 LED-lysrör är avsedda att ersätta traditionella
lysrör i en armatur som består av magnetisk/induktiv
drossel, glimtändare och ett T8/T10 lysrör. Om armaturen innehåller en kraftreglerande kondensator ska
denna tas bort före montering.
Make sure that the luminaire is switched off before
installing a LED tube, and also the environment is
cleared from any obstacles. In addition, check that LED
tube can be used in the luminaire. Valtavalo G3 LED
tube is meant to replace traditional fluorescent tube in
a luminaire where electric wiring consists of magnetic
ballast, a starter and a T8/T10 fluorescent tube. If the
luminaire contains a power factor correction capacitor,
it should be removed before installation.
1. Instalace trubice do LED svítidla Valtavalo
Trubici nainstalujete vsunutím kolíčků koncovky po
obou stranách LED trubice do drážek patice ve svítidle (shodně jako zářivkové trubice). Použitím výhradně síly prstů otočte trubici tak, aby světlo emitující
komponenty směřovaly směrem od svítidla. Pokud je
ve svítidle startér (startér B ), nahraďte jej LED G2/
G3 startérem Valtavalo , který byl dodán společně s
LED trubicí.
2. Náhrada zářivkové trubice
Ujistěte se, že svítidlo obsahuje elektromagnetický
předřadník C , stejně jako startér B . LED trubice Valtavalo G3 není kompatibilní se svítidly obsahující elektronický předřadník a LED trubice Valtavalo není určena k instalaci do takovéhoto svítidla. (Instalace LED
trubice do svítidla s elektronickým předřadníkem vyžaduje odborný zásah, kterým vzniká nové svítidlo, viz
výše). Pokud si nejste jisti typem předřadníku, poraďte se s elektrikářem nebo s technickou podporou
2.1.Vyjměte ze svítidla staré zářivkové trubice A následujícím způsobem: otáčejte pomalu trubicí tak,
až se konektory v paticích trubice uvolní.
2.2.Vyjměte ze svítidla starý startér B a vložte místo
něj G2/G3 LED startér, který byl dodán společně
s LED trubicí.
2.3.Instalujte LED trubici zasunutím konektorů na
obou koncích trubice do patic ve svítidle. Pomalu
otáčejte trubicí, dokud konektory trubici neuzamknou.

I vissa specialfall, när man exempelvis gör ändringar
i armaturen genom nya kopplingar, bildas en ny
elektronisk apparat. Det är då verkställaren som får
ansvaret för den nya armaturen. För att erhålla CEmärkning måste den nya elektroniska apparaten granskas igen. Kontakta Valtavalo vid oklara fall.
1. Montering av LED-lysrör i Valtavalos armaturer
Montera LED-lysrören i armaturen genom att trycka
in ändarnas stift i de avsedda hållarna/skårorna. Vrid
enbart fast röret med fingrarna och se till att de belysande LED-komponenterna riktas vinkelrätt bort från
armaturen. Om det finns plats för Valtavalos G2/G3säkring i armaturen – installera den medföljande säkringen B på sin plats.
2. Montering av LED-lysrör som ska ersätta ett traditionellt lysrör
Säkerställ att lysrörsarmaturen innehåller en magnetisk/induktiv drossel C och en glimtändare B . Valtavalos G3 LED-lysrör kan inte monteras om armaturen
är försedd med en elektronisk drossel. Om du är
osäker på vilken typ av drossel du har kan du kontakta
Valtavalos supportavdelning eller konsultera en elektriker. Om armaturen är avsedd för två lysrör bör
båda bytas ut samtidigt.
2.1.Ta bort de gamla lysrören A från armaturen genom att försiktigt vrida på röret så att lysröret
lossnar.
2.2.Ta bort glimtändarna B genom att vrida ett kvarts

In certain special cases, when changes are made to
the luminaire, e.g. rewiring, a new electronical device
is created of which the executor becomes responsible. The conformity of the luminaire is to be reassessed by the executor and a new CE marking is to

1. Installment to a Valtavalo Led Luminaire
Install the LED tubes to the luminaire by pushing the
pins in both ends of the tube directly into the slots.
Using solely power of fingers, spin the tube so that
the light emitting components point directly away
from the luminaire. If there is a place for a G2/G3 LED
starter of Valtavalo in the luminaire, install the starter
B , which was delivered together with the LED tube,
to its place.
2. Replacing a Fluorescent Tube
Make sure that the luminaire contains a magnetic ballast C ; thus a starter B is always needed. Valtavalo G3
LED tube is not compatible with a luminaire containing an electronic ballast, and Valtavalo LED tube is not
to be installed to such luminaire. If uncertain about
the type of ballast, consult an electrician or the technical support of Valtavalo. If the luminaire contains
two fluorescent tubes, replace them both at the same
time.
2.1.Remove the old tubes A from the luminaire by
spinning the tube until the slots in the luminaire
release the pins of the tube.
2.2.Remove the old starters B from the luminaires.
Install the G2/G3 LED starter delivered together
with the tube.
2.3. Install LED tubes into the luminaire by pushing
the pins in both ends of the tube directly into the
slots and spin until connector parts lock the tube.

Světlo vyzařované LED trubicí Valtavalo G3 můžete
zaměřit požadovaným směrem.
Ljuset från Valtavalos G3 LED-lysrör kan riktas i
önskvärd riktning.
The light emitted by the Valtavalo G3 LED tube can
be directed towards desired direction.
1.Håll i lysrörets ände och använd fingrarna för att
vrida ändkapseln ett snäpp och sedan dra utåt.
2.Ändkapseln kan justeras genom att vrida den
yttre kapseln i fyra alternativa positioner i 90 graders vinkel.
3.När du hittat en lämplig vinkel – lås ändkapseln
genom att trycka den inåt tills den låses fast i sin
rätta position.
4.Justera den andra änden på samma sätt som du
gjorde med den förra.
5.Säkerställ att de båda ändkapslarna är i samma
vinkel före du installerar lysröret i en armatur.
6.Slutligen – testa lysröret i armaturen så att ljuset
riktas i den önskvärda riktningen. Om det inte
fungerar, gör om steg 1-6.
7.Observera att lysröret kan installeras tvärtom i
armaturen och därmed kan ljuset riktas 90 grader
åt andra hållet.
1.Hold the tube from the end and push the end cap
outwards by using fingers.
2.The end cap is adjusted by turning the outer cap
into 4 alternative positions in 90 degrees area
3.After finding the suitable angle, lock the end cap
by pulling inwards until the end cap locks into its
position.
4.Adjust the other end the same way as the first
end.
5.Before installing the tube into a luminaire, make
sure that the both end caps are adjusted to the
same angle.
6.Finally test the tube in the luminaire wether the
light is directed to the desired direction. If not,
repeat steps 1-6.
7.Please note, that the tube can be installed to the
luminaire the other way around and consequently
the light can be adjusted 90 degrees to the other
direction.
1.Před instalací trubice do svítidla uchopte trubici
na jejím konci a vytlačte prsty koncovku směrem
ven.
2.Koncovku je možno nastavit otáčením vnějšího
krytu do 4 alternativních pozic v rozsahu 90
stupňů.
3.Po nalezení vhodného úhlu zajistěte koncovku tlakem směrem dovnitř, dokud koncovka nezapadne
do své původní pozice.
4.Nastavte druhý konec trubice stejným způsobem
jako první.
5.Před instalací trubice do svítidla se ujistěte, že jsou
obě koncovky zajištěny ve stejném úhlu.
6.Nakonec otestujte trubice ve svítidle, zda světlo
vyzařuje požadovaným směrem. Pokud nikoliv,
opakujte kroky 1-6.
7.Vezměte prosím na vědomí, že trubice může být
do svítidla vložena i druhým směrem, a proto lze
světlo směřovat v rámci 90 stupňů i na opačnou
stranu.

The Valtavalo G3 LED tube is fully compatible with
luminaires and LED starters created for Valtavalo G2
and Elite G2 LED tubes.
Om lysröret eller glimtändaren inte kan avlägsnas
från armaturen
Om du inte kan vrida ur lysröret enbart med fingrarna bör du använda smörjmedel på lysrörs- och glimtändarhållarna. Smörjmedel finns att köpa i en butik
som säljer elektronik och armaturer. Det är viktigt att
inte använda för mycket kraft då röret eller armaturen kan förstöras!
If the tube or starter cannot be removed from the
luminaire
If the tube or starter cannot be spinned in the luminaire by using finger power, a suitable lubricant is
to be sprayed to the problem area. Lubricant can be
found from electronic or luminaire seller. Using excess power may break the tube or the luminaire.
Pokud se nedaří trubici nebo startér vyjmout ze
svítidla
Když se nedaří otočit prsty trubici nebo startér, pro
zlepšení situace nastříkejte na problémové místo
vhodný lubrikant. Použitím síly můžete poškodit trubici nebo svítidlo.
Když se trubice nerozsvítí nebo když svítí pouze
jedna
Zhasněte svítidlo a zkontrolujte připojení. Pokud je to
nutné nainstalujte trubici znovu. Také zkontrolujte, že
jsou kolíky LED trubice pevně uchyceny v konektorové části. Kromě toho, konektory umístěné na obou
koncích svítidla mohou být ohnuty. V tomto případě
pečlivě upevněte konektory zpět ke svítidlu tak, aby
byly schopny připojit oba konce trubice pevně ke svítidlu.
Pokud svítí jedna trubice jasněji než druhá
V některých trubicových svítidlech jsou trubice v
sériovém zapojení, ve kterém LED trubice nepracují správně. V tomto případě je třeba přepojit na
paralelní zapojení a v souvislosti se zásahem do svítidla znovu posoudit soulad se standardy. Svítidla smí
přepojovat pouze zkušený elektrikář. Sériové zapojení
rozpoznáte podle toho, že ve svítidle je pro více trubic
pouze jeden předřadník.
LED trubice Valtavalo G3 a záruka
Na LED trubice Valtavalo G3 se vztahuje tříletá záruka, která pokrývá všechna selhání výrobku. Záruka zaniká, pokud není zboží používáno v souladu s
technickou specifikací a instrukcemi (dodávány s LED
trubicí nebo dostupné na www.valtavalo.fi)

Recyklace
Při odstraňování starých zářivkových trubic je třeba
mít na paměti, že se trubice snadno lámou a obsahují toxické plyny. Zářivky by neměli být skladovány.
Staré zářivky a předřadníky se řadí do kategorie
nebezpečného odpadu a je nutné s nimi podle toho
zacházet. Je nutno je odevzdat do sběrného dvora
nebo do přímo k tomu určených kontejnerů pro
staré zdroje a svítidla EKOLAMP.
Om lysröret inte tänds eller bara ett av lysrören lyser
Slå av strömmen och kontrollera kontakterna. Vid
behov – ta bort och sätt tillbaka lysröret enligt anvisningarna ovan. Kontrollera även att ändarnas stift
sitter fast i lysrörshållarna. Det händer också att dessa
ändar böjs ut. Du kan då försiktigt böja tillbaka lysrörshållarna så att dess kontakter håller fast lysrörets båda
ändar ordentligt.
If the tubes do not light up or only one tube lights up
Turn off the luminaire and check the connection
points. If necessary, reinstall the tube. Also make sure
that the pins of the LED tube are tightly attached
to the connector parts. In addition, the connectors
placed in both ends of the luminaire may bend away
from each other. In this case carefully bend the connectors inwards in order to be able to connect the
both ends of the tube firmly to the luminaire.
Om det ena lysröret är ljusare än det andra eller
om rören flimrar
I vissa armaturer med två lysrör på har rören seriekopplats. Det gör då att lysrören inte fungerar som
de ska. Seriekopplingen måste därför ändras till en parallellkoppling som endast kan göras av en certifierad
elektriker. Seriekoppling kan identifieras genom att
dessa armaturer endast har en drossel för två eller
flera lysrör.
If one of the tubes is brighter than the other or the
tubes are bickering
In some luminaires with tubes, the tubes are connected in series circuit when LED tubes are not functioning properly. In this case the connection has to be
reinstalled to parallel circuit and the conformity has
to be reassessed. Only an electrician may rewire luminaires. Series circuit connection can be identified
from only a single ballast in a luminaire for two or
more tubes.
Valtavalo G3 LED tube garanti
Valtavalo G3 LED ljusrör beviljas garanti på tre (3) år.

Återvinning
När du skruvar loss och förvarar gamla lysrör bör
du komma ihåg att lysrör lätt går sönder och att de
innehåller giftiga gaser. Gamla lysrör och drosslar är
riskavfall och ska hanteras vederbörligt. Lagra dem
inte utan ta dem till din lokala återvinningscentral.
Valtavalos LED-lysrör är ej miljöfarligt avfall utan kan
återvinnas med annat elektroniskt avfall.
Recycling
When removing fluorescent tubes, it should be kept
in mind that fluorescent tubes break easily and contain toxic gases. Fluorescent tubes should not be
stored. Old fluorescent tubes and ballasts are hazardous waste and require to be treated accordingly.
Fluorescent tubes should be returned to the waste
and recycling center of your area. The LED tubes of
Valtavalo are electronic waste and can be recycled
with other electronic waste.
LED trubice Valtavalo jsou elektronickým odpadem a
mohou být s ostatním elektronickým odpadem také
recyklovány.
