Vyhlášenou a vskutku hojně navštěvovanou se stala tradiční
polenská Mrkvancová pouť, která se druhou neděli v září slaví již
od druhé poloviny 17. století. Původní církevní oslavy k uctění
ostatků sv. Liguriáše, patrona města Polné, již výrazně ustoupily moderním atrakcím, poskytujícím zábavu především mladší
generaci. V současné době jedna z největších poutí na Vysočině
je svým jménem spojena s nezvyklou tradiční specialitou – tzv.
mrkvanci. Sladké vdolky plněné směsí strouhané mrkve a koření mají svůj původ v rozšířeném pěstování mrkve polenskými

A well-known and highly popular attraction is the Mrkvancová Fair of Polná, which has been held the second Sunday
of September since as far back as the second half of the 1600’s.
Originally linked to a religious ceremony celebrating the sacred
relics of St. Liguriáš, the patron of Polná, the fair has gradually
opened up to modern secular attractions, primarily for entertaining the younger generation. At present, it is one of the largest
country fairs in Vysočina. It name derives from its unusual, traditional food specialty – called “mrkvance”. These sweet buns
filled with grated carrots and spices date back to the time before
importation of potatoes, when carrots were the most common
staple commodity grown by the population of Polná. For a recipe

Prostor pro aktivní odpočinek poskytuje nově vybudovaný Areál
volného času U Studánky (hřiště pro malou kopanou, basketbal
a volejbal, možnost hry stolního tenisu, dětské hřiště) a Rekreační a sportovní areál U Pekla (dětské hřiště, horolezecká stěna,
kuželky, možnost hry volejbalu a kopané), který vzhledem ke své
poloze na břehu rybníka umožňuje i projížďku na loďkách nebo
šlapadlech. Návštěvníkům jsou ve městě k dispozici i tenisové
kurty.
For visitors seeking active recreation, there is the newly built
leisure center U Studánky (featuring a small soccer field, basketball and volleyball courts, table tennis, children’s playground)
and the recreational campus U Pekla (children’s playground, mountain-climbing wall, bowling, volleyball court and soccer field),
as well as various water-sport opportunities, such as rental boats
and pedal boats. Visitors may also use the town’s tennis courts.
Raum für aktive Erholung bietet das neu erbaute Freizeitgelände U Studánky (mit Platz für Fußball, Basektball und Volleyball,
Tischtennisplatten, Kinderspielplatz) sowie das Erholungs- und
Sportgelände U Pekla (Kinderspielplatz, Kletterwand, Kegelbahn,
Volleyball- und Fußballplatz), das es hinsichtlich seiner Lage am
Teichufer ermöglicht, auch Paddel- oder Tretboottouren zu unternehmen. Den Besuchern stehen in der Stadt auch Tennisplätze
zur Verfügung.

L’aire de temps libre U studánky (Chez la Fontaine) nouveau
construit (terrain de petit football, basket-ball et volley-ball,
possibilité de jouer le tennis de table, terrain de jeux pour enfants)
et l’aire de repos et de sport U Pekla (Près de l’Enfer) (terrain
de jeux pour enfants, mur d’escalade, quilles, possibilité de jouer
le volley-ball et le football) offrent l’espace pour un repos actif.
Cette dernière, étant donné sa position sur le bord de l’étang,
permet aussi les promenades sur les barques ou sur les bateaux à pédales. La ville met à la disposition des visiteurs même
les courts de tennis.

Bekannt geworden und in der Tat viel besucht ist die traditionelle Polnáer Mrkvanc-Kirmes, die schon seit der zweiten Hälfte
des 17.Jahrhunderts jeweils am zweiten Sonntag im Spetmber
stattfindet. Die ursprünglichen Kirchenfeierlichkeiten zur Ehrung
der sterblichen Überreste des heiligen Liguriáš, dem Patronen
der Stadt Polná, haben bereits merklich moderneren, der jüngeren Generation Spaß bietenden, Attraktionen Platz gemacht.
Als eine der zurzeit größten Kirmessen in der Region Vysočina
ist sie über ihren Namen mit einer ungewöhnlichen, traditionsreichen Spezialität verbunden - den sog. Markvanci. Die süßen, mit
einem Gemisch aus geriebenen Möhren und Gewürzen gefüllten,
sog. Dalken haben ihren Ursprung im unter den Einwohnern Polnás vor Einführung der Kartoffel weit verbreiteten Möhrenanbau.

Très renommée et vraiment fréquemment visitée est la fête
patronale traditionnelle de Polná – Mrkvancová pouť qui est fêtée toujours la seconde dimanche du mois de septembre, et cela
depuis la deuxième moitié du 17-ème siècle. Les fêtes religieuses d’autrefois destinées à vénérer les reliques du Saint Liguriáš,
patron de la ville de Polná, se sont déjà presque effacées devant
les attractions modernes, divertissant surtout la jeune génération. Dans le temps actuel, une des plus grandes fêtes patronales
de Vysočina (Hauteurs) est unie par son nom avec la spécialité
traditionnelle inhabituelle – les soi-disant mrkvance. Le dessert
de pâte douce farcie de carottes râpées et des épices provient de
la cultivation de carottes, répandue parmi les habitants de Polná

Velkou rozmanitostí vynikají expozice Městského muzea, které
nalezlo své sídlo ve zrekonstruovaném Areálu hradu a zámku.
Zaslouženou pozornost vzbuzuje především expozice řemesel
a barokní venkovské lékárny, stejně tak i samostatná expozice
staré školy, umístěná v historické budově v centru města.
The exhibits at the Municipal Museum are outstanding in terms
of diversity. The museum found its home in the restored complex of the Polná Castle and Palace. Particularly interesting are
the museum’s exhibition of crafts and trades, its Baroque Rural Pharmacy, as well as the Old School Exhibition. The latter
is installed in a historical building in the center of the town.
Durch große Vielfalt tun sich die Ausstellungen des Stadtmuseums hervor, das seinen Sitz im rekonstruierten Burg- und Schlossareal gefunden hat. Verdiente Beachtung findet vor allem die
Handwerksausstellung und die Ausstellung barocker Dorfapotheken, genau wie die selbstständige Ausstellung „Alte Schulen“,
die sich in einem historischen Gebäude im Stadtzentrum befindet.
Très variées sont les expositions du musée municipal qui
a trouvé son siège dans l’aire reconstruite du château fort et du
château. Surtout l’exposition de l’artisanat et de la pharmacie baroque de campagne, le même que l’exposition de la vieille école,
installée dans un bâtiment historique au centre de la ville, attirent
l’attention bien méritée.

Polná se v současné době se svými pěti tisíci obyvateli řadí
k menším sídlům v oblasti. Někdejší sláva města se však zrcadlí v množství historických památek, kterým vévodí dominantní chrám Nanebevzetí Panny Marie – monumentální pomník knížecího rodu Dietrichsteinů – a goticko-renesanční

Pojmannova stezka provádí příchozí zalesněným údolím rybníků
Bor a Kukle – zřejmě nejkrásnější částí blízkého okolí města. Klidné kouzlo krajiny dokreslují budovy Borského Mlýna a někdejší
rasovny poblíž obce Věžnice. S finančním přispěním továrníka
Václava Pojmanna vybudovali stezku místní turisté již v letech
1909–1912; až do konce 40. let byla Pojmannova stezka vyhledávanou chloubou polenského plenéru. V roce 2004 byla po
letech zapomnění pomocí polenských spolků a množství dobrovolníků realizována obnova stezky s odpočinkovými altány a pořízeno turistické značení.
At present, Polná, with its five thousand inhabitants ranks
amongst the region’s smaller municipalities. The one-time glory of the town is however mirrored in the multitude of its historical sites, dominated by the Virgin Mary Ascension Church,
the monument of the princely House of the Dietrichsteins, and
the Gothic-Renaissance Castle and Palace of Polná. The nostalgic and old-worldly atmosphere of the downtown district,
which conceals also various reminders of colorful Jewish culture,
is complemented with spectacular nature sceneries in the town’s

The Pojmann Trail takes visitors to the wooded valleys surrounding Lake Bor and Lake Kukle – probably the most beautiful parts of the town’s environs. The countryside’s quiet magic
is enhanced by the buildings of the Borský Mill and the former
knacker’s yard near Věžnice. Thanks to a financial contribution
from the industrialist Václav Pojmann, local hiking fans were able
to build a hiking trail as early as 1909–1912; until the mid-forties,
the Pojmann Trail was a popular boast to the scenery of Polná.
In 2004, the long-forgotten trail was restored thanks to joint effort of the civil organizations and volunteers of Polná, including
complementary resting pavilions and marked hiking trails.
Polná reiht sich mit seinen derzeit fünftausend Einwohnern unter die kleineren Ansiedlungen in der Gegend. Der damalige Ruhm
der Stadt spiegelt sich aber in jeder Menge historischer Denkmäler, allen voran der dominanten Maria-Himmelfahrtskirche einem monumentalen Andenken des Dietrichstein-Geschlechts
- sowie dem Burg- und Schlossareal im Gotik- und Renaisancestil
wider. Die nostalgische und altertümliche Atmosphäre der Innenstadt, deren Kolorit auch Sehenswürdigkeiten der jüdischen Kultur verbirgt, wird durch eine mannigfaltige Naturszenerie in der

Pojmannova stezka
Grâce à ses cinq mille habitants, Polná actuellement compte parmi les localités plutôt petites de la région. La gloire
de la ville d’autrefois, cependant, se répercute dans la quantité de monuments historiques qui sont dominés surtout de l’église Assomption de la Vierge-Marie – monument de la famille
princière Dietrichstein – et des bâtiments gothiques-renaissants
du château fort et du château. L’atmosphère nostalgique et patriarcale de la ville interne dont le coloris recèle même les monuments
de la culture juive, est accompagnée de décors naturels dans les
approches de la ville. Voilà pourquoi la ville historique de Polná
se permet de vous inviter à la visiter…

Der Pojmann-Pfad führt den Ankömmling durch das bewaldete
Tal der beiden Teiche Bor und Kukle - sicher der schönste Teil der
näheren Umgebung der Stadt. Den stillen Zauber der Landschaft
vollenden die Bauten der Borský-Mühle und der ehemaligen Abdeckerei nahe der Gemeinde Věžnice. Mit finanzieller Hilfe des
Fabrikanten Václav Pojmann bauten örtliche Touristen den Pfad
bereits in den Jahren 1909-1912; bis Ende der 40er Jahre war
der Pojmann-Pfad ganzer Stolz des Polnáer Pleinairs. Im Jahre
2004 wurde nach Jahren der Vergesseheit mithilfe der Polnáer
Vereine und jeder Menge Freiwilliger die Erneuerung des Pfades
mitsamt seinen Rasthäuschen und touristischen Markierungen
in Angriff genommen.

Le sentier Pojmann promène les arrivants par une vallée boisé
des étangs Bor et Kukle – probablement la plus belle partie des
approches de la ville. La poésie tranquille du paysage est complétée des bâtiments du moulin Borský mlýn et de l’ancien équarrissoir près de la commune de Věžnice. Grâce à l’aide financière du
fabricant Václav Pojmann, les touristes indigènes ont construit
déjà dans les années 1909–1912 le sentier de Pojmann; jusqu’à
la fin des années 40, le sentier était l’orgueil recherché du plein
air de Polná. En 2004, après les ans de l’oubli, les associations
de Polná et beaucoup de volontaires ont réalisé la reconstruction
du sentier avec les pavillons de repos et les repères touristiques.

Klementova stezka potěší svým charakterem všechny zájemce o poznání nejvýznamnějších lokalit města Polné a jejich historie. Trasa počíná i končí přímo na hlavním Husově
náměstí a provádí návštěvníka židovským městem k Areálu
hradu a zámku až na vrch Kateřinov, aby pak sestoupil skrze
les Březinu k symbolickému hrobu Anežky Hrůzové, oběti nechvalně proslulé Hilsnerovy aféry. Druhá polovina stezky vede
po břehu rozlehlého rybníka Peklo až k židovskému hřbitovu
a národní kulturní památce Klešter. Veškeré zastávky jsou doplněny informačními tabulemi.
The Klement Trail has all the characteristics that captivate
the fans of Polná’s most prominent localities and their history.
The trail starts directly in the main town square, Husovo Náměstí,
and takes visitors through the Jewish District to the Polná Castle
and Palace, and then to the Kateřina Hill. From there it continues
through the Březina Forest to the symbolic grave of Anežka Hrůzová, the victim of the infamous Hilsner affair. The second half
of the trail takes visitors along the shores of the vast Lake Peklo
to the Jewish cemetery and the national monumental site of Klešter. All resting places along the trail are provided with information
boards.
Der Klement-Pfad erfreut durch seinen Charakter alle, die am
Kennenlernen der bedeutendsten Örtlichkeiten der Stadt Polná und
deren Geschichte interessiert sind. Die Trasse beginnt und endet
direkt am Hus-Marktplatz und führt den Besucher durch das Judenviertel über das Burg- und Schlossareal bis zur Katerinenhöhe,
um dann wieder quer durchs Birkenwäldchen zum symbolischen
Grab Anežka Hrůzovás, dem Opfer der berüchtigten Hilsner-Affaire, hin abzufallen. Die zweite Weghälfte führt entlang des Ufers
des ausschweifenden Teiches Peklo bis zum Jüdischen Friedhof
und dem nationalen Kulturdenkmal Klešter. Sämtliche Haltepunkte sind mit Informationstafeln
ausgestattet.

localités les plus importantes

finit directement sur la place
principale Hus, en promenant
le visiteur par la Ville Juive
au château fort et au château
jusqu’à la colline de Kateřinov, et en descendant ensuite
par la forêt Březina (Bétulaie)
à la tombe symbolique
d‘Anežka Hrůzová, victime
de l’affaire Hilsner tristement
célèbre. La seconde moitié
du sentier passe par le bord
de l’étang étendu Peklo (Enfer) jusqu’au cimetière juif
